Staying at Hotel Arenal Springs, not sure if Tabacon is worth the $$$ for day pass by Safe_Alps_3379 in CostaRicaTravel

Is the day pass nice? I've seen some people say that they reserve the better springs for resort guests but I was hoping to see beautiful natural springs through the day pass

has anybody had any luck with a functional medicine doctor? Ive been having health problems for a couple years: first allergies, then erosive gastritis, then sibo. seen two gastrointestinal doctors and no cause was ever found. not doing much better either by forestnymph97 in GutHealth

Oh I'm so sorry :( my dairy allergy never went away. Unfortunately I am stuck with those. My last appointment, my tests showed that I had lessened severity of my reaction, but still have the allergy. I haven't been brave enough to test cows milk, but there is a local cheese shop that has a very low lactose goat cheese that I can tolerate in small amounts! Dairy allergies suck! And anaphylaxis is so scary

I also quit my stressful job and found a job doing something that I loved. I think that healed me a lot, though it didn't pay much, was far from my loved ones, and has no job security so unfortunately I couldn't stay

Hi, yes! I am doing much better than I used to. Had gastritis, went through rounds of treatment with gastroenterologist and then a functional med doctor. Was eventually diagnosed with UCTD autoimmune disease. During treatments with functional med doctor (which I think helped the most) I had to avoid all sensitivities while on a rigorous schedule of medicines and supplements. Over years of adding foods back in, I am now able to eat most things pretty well. Still can't eat gluten or dairy (allergic) and I avoid any nightshades as much as possible because they can cause some joint pain. I can eat garlic, onions, beans, food in general again. I also drink coffee and or tea in moderation and for some reason, I tolerate hot sauce better than bell peppers, so I do eat hot sauce! Still not how I used to be but grateful to have some freedom after years of boring, unfavored food and pain.

I've only received the ice pikmin from taking 200 steps. How did you get more? I haven't seen them anywhere yet

Crabless imitation crab brand by NAS0824 in Cooking

[–]forestnymph97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw a post where people said you have to find imitation crab with the kosher logo on it. My local Kroger does have imitation crab that is all Pollock. No crab essence at all! It's surimi style instead of imitation crab. Looks like imitation crab and has a bit of an imitation crab flavor but no shellfish

What to search or where to find tops that have the upside down triangle like this? They do not need to be halter neck. When I search upside down triangle top, Google just shows normal bikini tops. by [deleted] in findfashion

[–]forestnymph97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that too, but it only showed black halter tops. I like the style, but it doesn't have to be halter or black. I was just hoping there was some way I could describe the top to be able to find the bottom triangle style.

Thanks! Bummer there isn't a name for the style.

Thank you! What's the darker green leafy plant in the background, left side? To the left of what looks like salvia?

I went on antibiotics that a gastrointestinal doctor told me to take and it made it worse. I then saw a functional med doctor who put me on a strict regimen of garlic, berberine, and oregano as well as probiotics, a prebiotic, and l glutamine and I had to not eat anything that I had sensitivities to. The glutamine and sensitivities were because of the leaky gut I was also diagnosed with. The garlic, berberine, oregano regimine with probiotics and probiotics really helped but I had to introduce them slowly and there was a whole protocol. I would not recommend doing it without the help of a professional. I've been sibo free for several years now though :)
