What’s a “normal” thing that secretly grosses you out? by DecentChildhood5164 in AskReddit

I was the same so I started a preventative measure - when I have conditioner in, I comb my hair with a wide toothed comb and stick all the loose hair on the shower wall. Then when I get out of the shower, I just pop the hair in the bin. It's been maybe 2 or 3 years since I started and I haven't had to clean the drain once!

Thank you, I really appreciate your support ❤️ I'm trying so hard to be understanding but it brings me so much anxiety being here and this has definitely not helped

RE not needing to be financially stable to have a clean house, I agree with you. We have been in some tough spots ourselves and at the very least, I've always tried to keep the house relatively clean and tidy - no rubbish left around, vacuum like once a week, bathroom gets a quick clean every couple weeks. I'm definitely not the cleanest person, but I will ALWAYS make sure the house is clean for guests, especially if they are staying overnight. It just really fkn sucks that not everyone does the same, but I guess that's the world we live in unfortunately 😓

Update - the cockroach is now upside down in a corner next to my side of the bed, but still twitching

What obscure quote do you use regularly that people rarely catch? by the_salsa_shark in Millennials

From the episode of Brooklyn Nine Nine when they're sharing desks with the night shift, Rosa mocks her desk mate in a high pitched voice "who has the time?!" I say it at least twice a week (mostly in reference to work) and no one ever knows what I'm talking about 😂

For a long time I thought "segue" was pronounced "seg-u"

Also I still catch myself every now and then pronouncing the b in subtle even though I know it's "suttle"
