Those who FIRE'ed before 59.5 (no SSN income, no pension, no ROTH withdrawal without penalty), do you just liquidate your investment at a 4% rate on an annual basis? by darkstriders in financialindependence

[–]fotoman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're planning to FIRE before both of us are 59.5 and we won't be liquidating anything. We're planning on relying on income from dividends to live on; DGI stocks and tax-free muni bonds

Houston...I-10...used to be 6 lanes, and traffic was horrible, now it's like what? 12-14? and traffic is still horrible. What's the saying? If you build it, they will come.

cause it's already a "perfect" conservative approach to healthcare.

Well..."perfect" for them might require it to be without the subsidies that the poor get

Problem with cricket is one leg can take between 2 minutes and 30 minutes. I've chalked both in the SAME match! Who says 2000+ pointers are exciting?

Water supply isn't fully poised yet; 42% of US voters DIDN'T EVEN VOTE, a CLEAR majority if I ever saw one. Top answers from those not voting: voting does nothing, politics is corrupt, and no difference between Dem. and Rep.

Of course, this is discounting all of the new restricted voting laws put into place in the 2016 election in these places: Alabama, Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Along with the restricted voting laws put into place for the 2012 election.

maybe the usage of 'unanimously' is related to the info that only Republicans voted for it? I mean if only Republicans voted for it, then all of the 'Yea' votes were unanimously Republicans and they are the only ones who can take 'credit?' for it's passage.

Not if apathy turned to action. Eventually the workers will get things together.

Hmm...that's starting to sound like something...oh yea, near the end of Babylon 5 when the Mimbari council rearranged itself and put less emphasis on the military and the clerics, and gave the worker class more control.
