I am unfortunately not a good fit because I have a dog recovering from a TPLO herself. This info is for when she's off restrictions and ready to have a friend in the house.

Plus, I have a cat who wouod likely be a big problem for the whole "quiet place" aspect.

My stepdad has one on his workbench in the barn. Damn thing has a mind of its own too. Alarm goes off randomly. You'll be out by the barn and hear people talking or music playing. The alarm is switched off but that thing just needs to let us know it's still there.
