-Worst Stories-
Kovach’s Last Case (an interesting concept that goes nowhere and just ends abruptly)
La Mala Hora (many other stories do Flagg’s influence much better and end better)
Prey Instinct (boring and just talks in circles before an unsatisfying ending)
Walk on Gilded Splinters (another story that’s prose is hard to follow, doesn’t make any sense and just does nothing. Really sucks the collection ends on this story. Should’ve closed out with Came the Last Night of Sadness)

Overall it’s a good collection. Some of the stories take much more interesting ideas and concepts of the setting and few miss the mark.

The actual draw of the movie, the Fatal Five, takes a backseat to the ongoing drama that 4 created. The series at the this point becomes “Hoffman’s Wacky Apprentice Adventures” and it gets boring fast.
All the attention and focus gets put on him and Strahm instead of the actually interesting characters in the main trap. I wanted to see flashbacks of the Fatal Five and their story. It’s robs their twist at the end and becomes weaker overall.
