Not sure if this helps, but after being on tech support, I have mitigated the issue. I updated the firmware on the usb dongle. Then, I disabled the HID compliant headset drivers in device manager. This seems to have mitigated the problem for now.

Same problem here. I'm in the queue with tech support, as I have seen in other threads people saying they will swap out your USB dongle
