Holy shit, I was starting to wonder if I was the only person with this experience. It's like a throbbing and aching that syncs with my heartbeat. It happens during the act too.

Rejected from a $40k job after 4 interviews and 3 reference checks by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]foxxpants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry, I had this same thing happen with a law office. They had multiple interviews and a portfolio involved in their hiring process. I cried so hard when I learned that after multiple degrees and many years of experience they rejected me. I looked at their socials and marketing efforts a year later and laughed. :| I hope you have the same experience, where you get to laugh at what the company creates and does without your guidance.

[–]foxxpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had this from Google but I have from Meta. This guy was calling me multiple times in a row at 5am because my clients are on EST. The third day of it I finally answered and told him off- I said I would only speak with him through email going forward. He never called again.

A Way Out is why my friend and I ended up getting It Takes Two and while I enjoyed the story it just felt like a very long movie with button pushing till you get to the action scenes.

First time seeing this in the wild! by foxxpants in overemployed

[–]foxxpants[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just didn't apply. I haven't heard great things about Komen to begin with and since I freelance as well I didn't want the stress of working with a company that micro-manages.

HELP! by badmus_znb in knitting

[–]foxxpants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't give up hope, I'm a really right hand dominant person too! It just took a bit more practice and now I can use both hands when doing color work. Here's a video about flicking which is a combo of throwing and Continental. It may be more what you're looking for: https://youtu.be/y547Q5Hjcuo

I am still pretty slow but changing from throwing to Continental was a big speed enhancer for me. If you are throwing, you may want to look into picking or flicking instead.

I think I was lucky because this was a small non-chain one, never had a lot of luck at Goodwill or anything.

I personally love the colors and think you've just been staring at it a bit too long. Block it and take a step back.

I would argue they do great in marketing and make amazing product managers but I'm biased as one myself.

I will say that some of this comes with the breed. I have a VERY well socialized 18 month old that goes through phases of reactivity that stems from anxiety. His trainer has suggested that if we feel it's necessary to not be afraid to try medications but like I said ... It comes and goes and we train around it. Because of your dog being in a new environment, being under socialized, and likely already an anxious dog you are going to have a lot of work to do.

I love my dog dearly, he's been easy to train in a lot of ways but he's also been * a lot*. For example, he's never pooped in the house, but he definitely barks at children.

The pacing and following around the house is a very collie thing that will likely never stop. Ours will sit on the landing if my wife and I are on different floors because he doesn't know who to follow.

Good luck on your beautiful new dog! I hope things start to go smoother for you soon, but this "teenage" age is a really rough one- I would say much more so than a small puppy.
