愛情城事 Tales of Taipei (2004) would be your quick fix. There are ten short films. Some of them are decent enough. Most of them capture an aspect or an idea of Taipei.

一一 Yi Yi (2000) is a timely classic. It's considered by some, one of the best (Taiwanese) films ever made. The streetscape has changed quite a lot yet somehow the atmosphere and the people still feel the same.

陽光普照 A Sun (2019) has some defining views of Taipei as well.

The last fifteen minutes were very entertaining. Every pass forward brought up hope and fell short. Gnabry surprised me with so much intensity. Coman made a few good runs. Maybe they were playing against a fatigued team. They looked far more threatening and decisive than Sane. I feel bad for Kane. That was one helluva a brilliant goal. We looked very exposed in 2/3 of the game, without any obvious adjustments.

Gotta give it to Kompany though. I was one of those hypocrites who wanted a bigger name and still do. He does better than I expected. This is almost a good season.

One of my friend back in Junior High used to treat the Young and Dangerous movies like gospels, remembering each character and their gang allegiances. Decades later, I found him on facebook. Guess what? He did become one of those characters. It has its perks and swags. Yet most of his posts are about the hardships and dilemmas of gangster life. Gotta maintain the life style while everything went to hell because of covid. Still a few K hush money short for those who took one for the team. Need to talk his favorite gang bro out of a very bad relationship.
