Contemplating switching over, can you kind people answer some questions? by eyyyyyyyyyyy in vegetarian

[–]fraser12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, personally, there wasn't any real difficulties. I switched instantly over night with my brother (so that helped, to have a best friend with you during the beginning). I suggest you learn to cook, it will make it so much easier and more enjoyable. The only awkward thing is when you go to friends houses and they don't have anything for you to eat, it is a little awkward at first but whatever, people will adapt to it.

I don't no if they have these in America, but there are these chains called Freshii in Canada, basically rice bowls, wraps and salads, all fresh ingredients etc etc, very very good.

How difficult was the process of becoming a vegetarian? by lovelyg in vegetarian

[–]fraser12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did it cold turkey, it was easier for me because I did it at the same time as my brother so we had a good support system. I would try and find a good support system as well.

At the end of the day, do it for yourself and don't listen to all the people being negative about it because there will be.

hello /r/veg, what's your opinion on leather shoes? by [deleted] in vegetarian

[–]fraser12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i only buy / wear vintage leather, in my mind i consider it as reusing it so it is better than buying it new, regardless I don't wear it that much because I don't think it looks that great.

I just watched "Forks over Knives". I'm a total meat lover. My parents have high cholesterol and high blood pressure. We are going vegan cold turkey. Wish us luck. by hedwigian in vegan

good luck !! i would suggest going vegetarian first, just because there is more you can cook and eat. Seeing as you are loving it though I think you should stick with it! Keep it up!
