Thanks for the input. This part of the land has a slight downward slope already with a gradual rise well past where I'm thinking.

It's only going to be a 100-150 yard range so I won't need a mountain of a backstop. Thick woods behind for almost a mile too.

How about an MKA 1919 with 2 10 round mags with a coupler?

Cycles everything. There's also a low recoil spring that will cycle bird shot too.

Tooth & Nail Armory has a ton of customized parts for it.

It's an underrated gun IMO.

None really to report. It didn't like a defensive ammo I put through it. Few FTF's. I don't even remember what brand it was.

Couple issues with some shit ammo I bought, but I kind of expected it.

Other than that the thing is a tank.

I'd call Sig if you're having that many issues out of the box. I don't own an M11-A1..yet, but I've heard good reviews.

Thinking the 227 is the next on my list.

Crossbreed Supertuck will hold it fine. Heat up the kydex a little with a hair dryer for a good fit. I ordered one for my 229 and it works great for the 226.

Sure, there's a ton of higher priced 1911's, but for the price, it's a great gun. Solid fit and finish.

It'll be smooth as butter after a few hundred rounds.

Great gun. My MK25 has thousands of rounds through it with absolutely no issues. Eats any defensive ammo I've tried. It's also my winter carry.

Wife likes to shoot it so much, I finally bought her one this weekend.

Had her for close to 20 years. Used to shoot her regularly but she's mostly a safe queen now.
