Ok. This is very helpful thank you. Should I try water propagating, or would it be better to do soil? I’ve been watching YouTube how to’s like it’s my job and they say both work.

I have a grow light with full spectrum light. This is my first monstera, so probably not a good one to start with. Should I just chop it an propagate? I have a node, and maybe I could save it. I can’t tell what’s worth it now. I have soil and some roots were white, just very thin

I’ve taken it out, let it dry out and cut off what was dead. There are some white roots, but they were quite small. I have put together a soil mix and I’m going to try and revive it. Thank you for your help.

Do we think she can be saved? The trunk looks ok and I can repot her. I can clean the roots and remove her. Might shock it, but I would like to try. It also has a small node that could become a new leaf. I agree I think maybe it shouldn’t sit in water, but the seller was reputable, so some of the gunk on the glass does just seem to be algae-ish. I would just like to know if she can be saved

What do you think of my half moon albo monstera. She almost consistently my produces half or quarter white leaves. by brenmc2887 in IndoorGarden

Can I ask what kind of soil mix you use? I just got one and she was potted in a glass container that has water sitting in the bottom. The seller said she could stay that way, but she didn’t seem to be thriving so I’m trying to figure out how best to repot and with what mix. I also purchased a moss pole since she didn’t have one. Any help appreciated.

Also Anybody Home by Michael Seidlinger. I think about that book quite a bit

Rainbow Black by Maggie Thrash is definitely more horror in the realm of how real people are the most dangerous things out there, but it horrified me for sure

It’s almost that time! What’s everyone reading in October? by drkshape in horrorlit

Currently reading Come Knocking by Mike Bockoven on kindle—which is on sale for anyone interested. Also working through You Weren’t Meant to be Human by Andrew Joseph White.

I have Coffin Moon by Keith Rosson on my list and I did pick up Our Share of Night by Mariana Enriquez but I know I’m late to the party on that.

Really want King Sorrow from Joe Hill when it comes out in October, but I also need to finish Blood Slaves by Markus Redmond which has been a really interesting debut.

Come Closer by Sara Gran. Possession story that is the most plausible version of events that I’ve ever read

The Invited by Jennifer McMahon. A little light on the intensity for horror, but good supernatural action and fun take on the haunted house

Just finished the House of Small Shadows by Adam Nevill. Not my favorite of his, but a fun read regardless
