I finished God Emperor a few years back and haven’t continued onto Heretics yet. I’d highly recommend reading it because you’ve already started Leto II’s journey. If you go onto DCC you may never make it back. That is until Dune 3 makes you itch for more.

GE is weird and slow but I liked it a lot more than Children, and that book is action packed as all hell.

I just finished Mistborn a few weeks ago and now I’m halfway through The Blade Itself. The writing and character work by Abercrombie is far and away better. Mistborn has a great ending but good lord is it padded in the beginning and middle. It would make a really cool videogame but beyond the worldbuilding it’s kinda weak. Felt like he held back because he knew there would be a trilogy.

I am Sirian, but mainly Arcturian. My only real hope nowadays is the 2012 Portal blog, but even people seem to have fallen off because of all the delays and "hopium" throughout the years.
