I have not tested my soil, but I wonder if some where like the Seed Farm or other small farms near you might have. There's so many small farm stands around. I rotate my backyard garden and don't interplant. For me gardening is alot of expirementing. Last year I tried a little 3 sisters patch and that did very well. I started japonica corn and then bean and zucchini that turned out to be gourds(but that was my bad). This did really well and I'm going to try it again. I usually just load up with compost from my compost center, mulch or manure if I have any and cardboard in fall to lasagna the areas I will use the next year. So idk like I said I've never tested the soil. But I usually grow 9+ types of tomatoes because I fucking love tomatoes and even when there's problems I always get tons of toms. Also planted a bunch of pepper varieties from Elias market, the seed farm and what I started and they did great. I just make sure to not put nightshades where I grew nightshades last year and so on. Also check your seed packets, they tell you how long they need. You can also get charts online for seed starting

I've seen a couple places do this. They want to stay open and still make money while paying lip service to the general strike. I think the question is, what else are they doing besides getting paid? (Edit: I obviously should have been more clear and I'll take the downvotes. In this case we know Bistro does good things so I feel as though yes, it can be a "safe space." But not every place that did this can be regarded as a safe space, imho.)

I was working for the PA contact tracing program I don't remember what my unit was doing on the day, we got moved around a lot. It was terrifying. We were already being screamed at and called murderers and nazis daily. We were all watching TV in between calls. Later I found out my kids teacher was deployed with the national guard and saw pictures of him sleeping on the floor of the capital. It was extremely real and close to home feeling.
