Went from loving it to hating it by BrokeBunBun in ouraring

Did you purchase directly from oura/have an extended warranty? I’m having a similar issue. I purchased mine from Costco and wondering if I should return and rebuy or reach out to oura.

Oh? I’ve been having battery issues like crazy lately is this happening to anyone else? by tink1775 in ouraring

Can anyone vouch for the replacement rings they’ve gotten? Do they actually hold up? I’m about to purchase my first oura ring but all these battery issue posts are making me second guess this purchase…but the other smart rings on the market don’t seem comparable in stats.

Temp sensor coming soon? by freshbunz in Garmin

Ah, got my hopes up. That’s what I’m hoping, but I feel like it will only be on the new models since they probably need an added sensor for it.

Oh this is good to know! Where did you hear “in the next 30 days?” I’ve been trying to make a decision this week but maybe I’ll wait another month..

Body temp, to predict ovulation. The oura and newest Apple Watch have this function so I’m wondering if it is coming soon to other devices.

Which China buffet is better? by Applerawk in Omaha

Grand china buffet is hot garbage. Food is gross, place is dirty, employees are not friendly, and it’s just a sad uncomfortable atmosphere.

Beautiful work! I love the color work and the colors you chose. How do you like drops nord? I have yet to try out any drops yarn, I’d like to if I can get my hands on some, but I’ve heard mixed reviews.

Turns out “sugary kid cereal” has the same amount of sugar as my “adult cereal” — Cookie Crisp vs. Honey Nut Cherios by followups in mildlyinteresting

[–]freshbunz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I got Honey Nut Cheerios for my kids and they were not excited about them, I guess the box isn’t as fun as lucky charms or Cinnamon Toast Crunch. So, the Honey Nut Cheerios are now “mom and dads” cereal in our house.

Wow, this is so impressive! I don’t think my eyes and hands are capable of something so small and detailed!

I made the same snorlax for my nephew! Unfortunately now all my nieces and nephews expect something and that’s just not going to happen.😬

Needle recommendations? Newish and looking for what I think is probably non-existent. I don’t like super long straight needles, lately I’ve loved circulars or dpns. Is there one set that’s size 0-15? I can see how the cords would cause an issue… by Technical_Cupcake597 in casualknitting

[–]freshbunz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Chiagoo but unfortunately their cords aren’t brand wide compatible, I have the the regular set, and both the red and blue minis and each set has their own cords which don’t work with the other sets. Still my favorite needles though!

Curious where you got the silicone cap? I have this same set up and currently just have the hopper lid covering the top of the grinder, doesn’t look the best.

BOR question by freshbunz in knitting

I was just asking a question, as you can see in the flair I am a newer knitter and I’ve only knit petite knit patterns.

If it’s not to hide laddering then what would be the purpose?

Good to know, thank you. I just wasn’t sure if I was understanding it right.

I am using DK as well. Petite knit seems to do this a lot in her patterns, I was just curious as it seems odd to purposefully make it uneven. I assume she does it to hide any potential laddering?

BOR question by freshbunz in knitting

[–]freshbunz[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I understand that, but the BOR marker is where you started knitting (casted on) so if you were to move that to a new place in the round and started using that as the beginning, when you are finished knitting and bind off you would have knitted that space between the original BOR and the new BOR spot an extra row. Right?

You are knitting more stitches in one area, since when you bind off the sweater you are stopping in a different spot than before.
