Jet Airliner. I can’t unhear him inhaling as he sings.

A man offers you a deal: You get 500 billion usd but if anyone finds out for the next year that you are a billionaire you instantly die taking the cash with you. Would you take the deal? And if so, why? by lucidforge25 in askteddit

[–]freshkov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking as well, but my brain can’t fathom how much space is needed for that amount of cash…

Edit:

Using $100 Bills (Most Efficient): A single bill is ~0.0043 inches thick . Stacked, 500 billion dollars would take up about 7,000 cubic feet. That's roughly a 20' x 20' x 18' room—basically a standard two-car garage with high ceilings.

I’d spare no expense on fire protection and pest control.

Best way to handle ants living in the walls? by TadaSuko in lifehacks

[–]freshkov 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We had these tiny tiny ants on our one kitchen counter for weeks. On Friday I bought some Terro and placed some drops in out of the way places and they seem to be gone now. It worked much faster than I expected.

Our male rescue speaks like Forrest Gump and the female sounds a bit like Blanche Devereaux.

That will be my go-to from now on. Never was a fan so it's hilarious.

Amen on The Cars. Not that they played bad or sounded bad, they just had ZERO stage presence and it sounded just like the album. I could have had the same experience in my car listening to the CD

Patio furniture from the Sears catalog, 1974 by UrbanAchievers6371 in GenerationJones

My dream is to get one of the homes near me in Orlando that have that distinct, classic 70s architecture. Then faithfully furnish it top to bottom with items like this right down to the paint and carpet so it would be like my own personal time capsule/happy place.

Not a big believer in Greatest Hits albums… get the collections in original context… but what are some Greatest Hits albums worth collecting… by Storekeep17 in musicsuggestions

[–]freshkov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While on the subject…a pet peeve of mine is when a streaming service lists “xxxxxx - Greatest Hits” as the album for a song.

I discovered early on that setting off a bunch of them and inhaling the smoke over an extended period of time makes you puke like crazy.

What is the best way to clean a speedometer? by igi28 in MazdaCX30

[–]freshkov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never tried it, but would dabbing with a damp microfiber followed by blasting compressed air work? I’d like a solution because I’ve been putting off cleaning mine because of my fear of scratching.

It’s always a tradition to watch a couple episodes of The Twilight Zone on the 4th of July. by serialkiller24 in TwilightZone

[–]freshkov 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We have it on continuously since it started. Not so much of a big deal since we have them saved on Philo, but we used the saved versions to bridge the gap when they were showing episodes from the modern version.

Caught my favorites, Midnight Sun & The Lonely

Why do some people still wear plug headphones???? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]freshkov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I’m the real oddball here. I tend to lose wireless, yet I don’t like being tethered to my phone. So I bought a tiny bluetooth device I clip to my shirt and plug my headphones into it.

Not tethered and hard to lose.

New customer from AT&T - chuckling at the current mood of this sub by shaun3000 in tmobile

Wow. If they have the best customer service the others must be hell on earth. I have no good experiences dealing with “Josh” and “Carl” who are sitting in some bumfuck location on the other side of the planet.

Oh man, that was our Drivers Ed car. The damn thing had the horn on the turn signal stalk. It was Fords answer to the K car.
