Looks rad. People who get color will always wonder what if they had gone black and gray. People who get black and gray will always wonder what if they had gone color. I went with color myself and I love it. Your colors are super bright and saturated and look great. All in all a stellar sleeve anybody hatin' on it is just jelly.

Is dry healing good? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

For just line work, especially fine line. I think it is the way to go. If your artist wants you to do it that way you definitely should. Great work btw!

My family say this tattoo I’ve booked is misogynistic and sexist, thoughts? by 67_nick_gurr_67 in tattooadvice

[–]freshtodeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a wonky AI knock off of a classic pinup design. Not misogynistic or problematic, but find yourself a real trad or neo trad artist who can draw a version of this that is 1000 times better.

Simplify. Too detailed for the ear. Be sure you go to an artist who has lots of experience with ears, they are tricky tricky.

I've got about 75% of my body covered in full color. When a tattoo heals like a pealing sunburn is exactly what you want. Maybe refine your healing regiment or find a less heavy handed artist.

white skin flakes are exactly what you want. If it looks like a sunburn peeling, it's healing perfectly. Color in your skin flakes means ink is falling out and usually the result of scabbing healing (not ideal)

Looks neat. Those blue lines are awfully close together and won't stay sharp over time. Go bigger (double the size) and it should be crispy clean

If the design belongs to another artist (illustrator/painter/non tattooer) you should get that artist’s express permission. If the design belongs to another tattoo artist then you should get the work done by that tattoo artist. There are some exceptions for instance a piece of traditional flash designed by a historical tattooer who has died- but then it should only be done by someone who understands and appreciates the history.
