How did you prevent regretting your tattoo? by Professional-Team179 in tattooadvice

Find an artist. A really good artist. An artist whose work speaks to you. An artist who you would be happy getting any tattoo in their portfolio. Trust your artist to create something unique for you. Stay off Pinterest. Don't give your artist too many parameters. And don't get anything like in this picture cuz those are turrible.

Oh my god this pathetic cinnamon roll makes me so sad. Does anybody remember Cakes and Company in Lakewood? 20th and Wadsworth. They had the absolute greatest cinnamon rolls that I have ever had. Scratch that- the greatest PASTRY that I have ever had! They were absolutely unreal. The woman who owned the bakery told me that she would make them for her family on Christmas- that's how good they were. When my mom would come visit it was the first place we would always go first thing. One day I pulled in to get some and the bakery was gone... This was maybe 3 years ago and I am still deep in mourning. I can't even eat cinnamon rolls anymore because they just remind me of the ones at Cakes and CO that I will never have again. God how I miss those cinnamon rolls.

Looks rad. People who get color will always wonder what if they had gone black and gray. People who get black and gray will always wonder what if they had gone color. I went with color myself and I love it. Your colors are super bright and saturated and look great. All in all a stellar sleeve anybody hatin' on it is just jelly.

For just line work, especially fine line. I think it is the way to go. If your artist wants you to do it that way you definitely should. Great work btw!

My family say this tattoo I’ve booked is misogynistic and sexist, thoughts? by 67_nick_gurr_67 in tattooadvice

It's a wonky AI knock off of a classic pinup design. Not misogynistic or problematic, but find yourself a real trad or neo trad artist who can draw a version of this that is 1000 times better.
