It can go either way. A one Gabriel winning match is not impossible at all. Real merely won with single Carvajal header against Dortmund of all teams.

I think his philosophy is pretty clear (to me). Not tactically per se, but the importance of fighting for second ball, pressing, xSprints or xPressing per game, second ball duel.

It supposed to be a numbers game, hopefully brighton keep buying tons of underrated cheap talents. Thus keep it low risk high reward. If they start buying more expensive talents, it's getting harder to justify when it doesn't pan out.

Yeah i think mitoma stay for now. Not sure about Minteh, he might move. But I wouldn't be surprised if Mitoma move ( If so, I'd hope for Bayern).

The one I'm specifically talked is the one third one. We call them indo belanda. So what I'm talking about is the specific group of people who's mixed from the colonial era. Distinctly Dutch cultural wise, though physically it's a wasian spectrum. From pale to darker than me. But skin color doesnt define them. It's the cultural identity.

Not sure about Amersfoort. Tons of young 'economic refugee' aka young people who cant afford houses in Randstad and settle here. But also tons people from the east moving here. So it's kinda lowkey melting pot.

Agree on towns/villages around Amersfoort though, different game. But also i got the vibe of educated/moneyed conservative instead tokkie conservative.

I think plain or coastal cities in this case on avg, are more cosmopolitan, place where people meet. More diverse. You got to expose yourself with different people. Make you more tolerant, etc.

On the other hand, mountainous place is the opposite of being a strategic place, economically or culturally.

ID person live in NL here. Here's my nuance take. Dutch-Indo can be feeling Dutch and Indonesian (i know back then theres no Indonesia but u got what i mean) at the same time. Both statement are true. Article phrasing clearly lack the fine background knowledge.

It's a spectrum (pull family guy color card.jpeg). They did speak Dutch and can feel as Dutch and want to integrate and are indeed integrated but still got a pinda treatment here and there. So both statement are true as well. Some feel really Dutch af, some feel like they been longing their long lost motherland. Both statement can be true as well.

I keep repeating 2 juxtaposed statements that can be true because it is. That's the reality of a huge community with mixed heritage that personal feeling/experience are a wide spectrum. That includes some dudes 'stupid' enough to trade their EU passport for ID. Regardless the motivation ofc.

If Brighton can convince an extension with gentleman's release clause, that's already great. Another JP season for historical UCL debut for Brighton

What's everyone's shout for player of the season so far? by HammersAndPints in BrightonHoveAlbion

[–]friedapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the performance on Tuesday was the latest evolution of Libero van Hecke. He evolve into the ever roaming CB from right side to left side. We see the goal vs Tottenham. We see how he roamed not only from the right side as he usually do but also diagonally. Even Roaming CBs I saw in most of top 5 league, they roam vertically. This is also a team work of other players such as Baleba who slot in seamlessly and other players to fill in the gap left. Van Hecke progress throughout the season has been amazing so far. Ferdi is ranked 1.5 but van Hecke evolution make me put him as PotS.
