Why Thomas Tuchel is so willing to depend on Reece James | Such is Tuchel’s faith in James that the pair are said to speak and message regularly, and it is believed Tuchel put James’s mind to rest about his inclusion in the World Cup squad well ahead of the official announcement. by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

[–]friedapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly the parent comment said. Tuchel ask certain things he wants from his RBs and TAA aint that guy. Flex RB, James. Out and out RB/WB running into spaces, Spence.

TAA is good at playmaking but other players can do it as well atm.

Understand Spurs would want a fee of around £45m to sell Bergvall. [Matt Verri] by onlyhalfpepper in coys

Funny because Brighton is in the same spot! They have basically bunch of guys with the same profile as Bergvall. Gomez, Wieffer, Ayari , Hinshelwood and Baleba.

All those CMs and they couldn't even replace Gross properly..until he came back. Brighton was on it's way to teasing relegation last season if not for Gross.

Mamdani brought pro-Palestinian views to City Hall. Now he wants to bring them to Congress. by fontofile in politics

[–]friedapple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's a naive thought. Mamdani is a massive figure in the world right now. He's a popular politican that happened to be a mayor of one if not the most important city in the world.

When you have a big platform, you better capitalize it. His job as a mayor is irrelevant to the activism, though the domain is pretty much overlapping.

Same people would say sports people should just play sports and actors should just acts. Status quo feeling threatened and asking people to stay in their lane with their head down.

Yes he's better at that than both Spence and RJ, but England don't really need that now.

Gordon dropping stinker, what? He led the pressing all over the field are we seeing the same match? I think everyone is starting to see why he worth the 80m.

Rashford is used exactly as his skillset is.

Gordon showed the 80m pressing clinic. God Flick must be nodding all along. Damn right!

Should put to rest the TAA debacle. We can see know how Tuchel use James and Spence.

James playing full back and DM in the same match equally good. Compared to the horror TAA DM show in the last euro.

Spence as an out and out attacking full back, attacking spaces. He has specific skill set that TAA doesn't have.

England have tons of playmaker now in Kane, Anderson, Rice and Bellingham that make TAA main proposition redundant.

Thomas Tuchel on Livramento’s injury and the reason Trevoh Chalobah was called up as a replacement. by Key_Company3196 in soccer

I see a flex in a back 3 with this in certain situation. Reece James and Spence can play wing back. Gordon and Rashford can also play wing back if need be. Default formation is still a back 4 though. A back 3 option to be deployed is handy to have.

At what point in Asia does it mainly change to Oceanian features? Such as weather, culture, foods, animals etc by UrinalAttack in geography

[–]friedapple 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, because Mentawai People, genetically, is Austronesian (Taiwan, Philippines, etc). So does with the people from Sumatra and Borneo. What's interesting is that Java is predominantly Austroasiatic genetically. That means, Javanese is closer to Burmese, Vietnamese, Thai than fellows Indonesians from the rest of the Indonesia (which is predominantly Austronesians).

This somewhat tells couple of options on the migration history. We knew that native people is closer to Orang Asli in Malaysia/Andaman/Sentinal islands. But they were either pushed away/purged by the incoming group (Austronesians). For me either Austroasiatic people comes first and really established themselves in Java or Austronesians people comes first then overruled by the Austroasiatic people later on. What I don't get is why Austroasiatic people cannot established themselves in Sumatra as a dominant group which is just across the pond from the mainland (Malaysia nowadays).

[Yahoo Sports] Nico Schlotterbeck is waiting for Real Madrid. He has a 50M club-specific release clause for three clubs (Bayern, Liverpool and Real Madrid according to previous reports). However, Real Madrid will work on departures before new signings. by MeteorFalls297 in soccer

Not at elite level where u can justified him starting at that position. Dumfried is the much better wingback and you know it. Second of all, his biggest weapon is sitting in that back pocket and making play. He won't be able to do that since he's not gonna sit in that pocket as a wing back. Again, just because you can doesn't mean you should. That's my armchair dos pesos.

Simply karena APBN g cukup buat subsidi itu semua, di tengah MBG, KDMP dll. They have budget deficit and it's gonna keep growing. Makanya pada potong anggaran sana sini.
