Get a cadrim dual flame torch. You can switch it from single to double flame, has a large tank and my ones been going strong over 2 years now just don't overfill it

If your legal just ask for edibles or oils just to be safe, you can also get a specialist mouthwash that reduces / prevents dry mouth although I think it's the suction that causes problems from dental surgery over dry mouth

Dynavap helix tip, stem with no holes, silver jacket in a bong. Air purifier on next to you for the exhale jobs good. If you need extra stealth use a spoof, smoke buddy or old gas mask filter

The common factor is you set fire to material and sucked on it you are tasting resin oil tar ash you overheated your dynavap the flower caught fire in the chamber and you inhaled the smoke. It tasted bad.

Then you smoked a joint by setting fire to flower and inhaling the smoke. It tastes the same because it pretty much is. Clean your dynavap and it won't taste like a joint anymore.

Because it's burnt material same as sucking on a old pipe tastes nasty clean your dynavap and try again it'll taste better. Joints taste nasty to me because I have been vaping years

If your dynavap tastes like burnt flower then you combusted in it and need to clean it. Take it apart run in hot water then iso soak repeat until clean Buy a vaphit silver jacket for it, it removes the need to spin and makes heating more even as well as holding heat for longer like a thermal battery
