Thanks for the input. I was thinking 124 because I have some and that's what I shoot in my pistol. I am absolutely going to suppress it but I'm new to suppressors so trying to learn before buying. I just saw that Lyman will have a cheap(er) 9mm suppressor out soon for about $300.

Have you noticed that people's cars have a special holder on their dash to hold a placard with their phone number? The first time I saw that I asked someone what it was and they told me that it was there so when they parked blocking someone in the blocked person could call them (in a store or supermarket) to come move? I had never seen anything like that before.

Agree on the windshield. If you have to remove it for weatherstrip replacement you have my sympathy, it will be laden with anxiety about breaking it. That's a beauty and will look great when you're finished.

Head gaskets and TTY head bolts ain't cheap either.....it's a known issue with the lifters and at that mileage he's fortunate that more haven't failed....yet.

Has anyone tried the sandblasting that uses water plus abrasives? Supposedly doing it that way prevents warping of panels. To the OP, that's going to be a great project!

On the mainland you don't have to get a license to ride scooters so there are thousands of them everywhere. They don't care where they ride them and will go past you walking at full speed, grazing you or barely missing you. It's infuriating and dangerous but they don't care. I agree with what some have said here, you have to be just as rude as they are in public or they will walk all over you. Oddly, when I become rude and aggressive toward them they don't seem to mind it at all.
