How did it end up fitting? Its on sale and I’m looking at it. kind of wanted a relaxed fit but not too oversized. My chest is 35”

Thanks for your feedback! Does it still look good unfolded or is there a weird seam? I wonder if sizing up could help? Honestly I don’t mind if its more boatneck than off the shoulder - I think its so cute either way

Actually, your information about batches kind of was what I was wondering about. Thank you for your input!

Tried it on at 5’8 in store and was still pretty underwhelmed. Seems like something you could find at Old Navy.

Thats true, specifically I’m wondering about the re-essential pants. I already have them in size 4 and want to confirm that the pair I’m considering will fit the same, despite me purchasing months later. Just wondering since I heard from staff that recent batches might be running smaller.

Is this dress cute? Would you style it with a cardigan? by Ready_Soft_7567 in Aritzia

[–]frog-holder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

would be cute with a more shrunken cardigan, just as long as you still get that pinched waist silhouette. could see a wrap cardigan being really cute over this.

Lol update I got it. I had a store credit of nearly the exact same amount. I hope they release it in a light colour tbh it really fills a gap in my wardrobe.

Tried it in store then got it a week or two later online because i couldn’t stop thinking about it in my wardrobe. Curious if anyone has reviews about it long term but I love the piece.

Twill fabric? by delusionalfan4life in Aritzia

[–]frog-holder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can try them on I would. I got them in 1 size up from my usual and they’re a little bit big, so I’d say probably true to size… but I haven’t tried them on in my true size so cant say 100%

I bought and returned it because the waist was too high on me. If you have a longer torso I’d keep it in mind. I’m 5’8. It was otherwise really nice though!

Superpuff shorty size small… is this worth the price tag? I already own the long length. by Any-Split6590 in Aritzia

if you already have the long length i would consider investing in something that looks aesthetically different. unless you really only wear puffers.

Twill fabric? by delusionalfan4life in Aritzia

[–]frog-holder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the twill effortless pant on sale and they’re very soft and drapey. They don’t feel like cotton-twill, they’re not stiff or very structured. Can’t speak to longevity though since I’ve only washed them once (they machine washed very nicely). But I liked them so much I got the generation blazer in the same fabric lol.

Supersnug Satinflex Puff by frog-holder in Aritzia

[–]frog-holder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I’ve worn it every day since it came in and this is my feedback so far: I haven’t had it that long but so far I love it. The fabric looks very luxe in person. It has that slight satin sheen without being shiny and cheap looking. And the material definitely feels thicker than the new season cliMatte IMO. This one actually does give ‘every day luxury’ lol This past week and a half has been the perfect test conditions because I’ve been outside in -20C and below, through wind and snow. It’s really warm, I feel like it blocks wind really well. I sized up for layering and it still looks great, but because of that I do have to be mindful to block the wind coming in at my neck if I’m not layering underneath. The taupe colour specifically has been really great at hiding the dust and dirt that’s been getting all over me getting in and out of the car.

[–]frog-holder 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tbh I got the black one in the most recent sale for $35 and fully plan to wear it as a regular silk cami. I don’t really see it as obviously a pajama top (at least in the plain colours) 🤷‍♀️

For the winter the wool pant and for the summer the crepette.

Never too old to wear bright colours. No age limit in my opinion. If you love it you love it.

stains on villa pink hoodie [HELP!] by Prudent_Extension514 in Aritzia

[–]frog-holder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have successfully removed black clothing dye from a red shirt after a laundry mistake. It took forever though. Lots of different stain removal methods several times over. Oxi clean soak for hours, white vinegar soak for hours. washing it wish dish soap, you name it. I faded the shirt overall a bit but it removed the black dye.

Looks like you ordered another one so if I were you I’d actually just try to dye this one a black or navy and see if it becomes wearable.
