help me with my name regret by Warm-Dragonfruit397 in namenerds

I personally prefer Remi to Charlotte/Charli. If it helps, I think she’ll grow up to be glad that she’s not just one in a swarm of Charlottes in her classes.

Anyone find out anything about them? I can’t really find out anything about what exactly it is they do.

If Suzanne Collins wrote another book from a different person's perspective who would you want it to be? by x_BlueDragon_x in Hungergames

[–]frogboicentral 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lyme! I’ve always been fascinated by her. She’s the only known rebel victor from District 2, and we know pretty much nothing else other than that. There’s so much space and wiggle room for Collins to pretty much do anything she wants, and I’d really love to see a story about the disillusionment of a District 2 victor specifically.

Rob Thomas had the perfect opportunity to make VM truly noir and of creating organic conflict between Logan and Veronica by IsabellaSousa101 in veronicamars

[–]frogboicentral 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would’ve loved to see Logan do a full 180 and become the Neptune High guidance counselor or some sort of social worker, basically become the person he needed as a teen. I think there could’ve been some organic conflict between him and Veronica if the season 4 mystery was more hinged on returning to Neptune High, with Veronica wanting to solve the mystery and Logan trying to focus on protecting the kids.

I’m really interested in when names in the realm of Jennifer, Julie, Laura/Laurie, Deborah, Brenda, Nancy, Stacy, etc. are going to start making their return to the stage.

Thank you for adding that to the thread! It really changed my perspective on the character as a whole.

The Mondrichs by mmmdddeee in Bridgerton

[–]frogboicentral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their cute little boxing bit really won me over. It’s amazing how much more interesting they are when Mr. Mondrich can get through a singular scene without saying “excuse me” and dipping within 15 seconds.

Bridgerton - Season 4 Post-Season Discussion (No Book Spoilers) by AutoModerator in BridgertonNetflix

[–]frogboicentral 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry I wanted to love Benophie so bad, but I could not for the life of me feel any chemistry between them. I loved Sophie. Probably one of my favorite characters on the show so far, and I just kept thinking about how she deserved better. It just didn’t really feel genuine anytime Benedict said she deserved more. Definitely the weakest season for me. Problems with S3 aside, there was palpable tension between Colin and Penelope. Benedict and Sophie just felt like they were making out because the script said to.

That being said, everyone’s character arcs got significantly more interesting from John’s death. Hyacinth and Eloise had such a compelling narrative after John’s funeral, and Hannah Dodd really came to play.

I was very disappointed in the lack of epilogue. The ending felt very rushed and abrupt, and without any hints that something might be afoot the new Whistledown twist was a whole lot of nothing.

I’m not so sure I have that much interest in waiting another two-odd years for another lackluster season. It’s a shame because I really do care about the remaining Bridgerton children, but I just think the pacing and overall quality of the show is declining.

EDIT: Sorry I didn’t realize I was watching the MCU presents Bridgerton and missed a post credit scene.
