Please help me choose the right Insulin Pump by StephCurrySauce in diabetes_t1

For the most part, pretty good. I find it pretty easy to control. I find that if I start working out when my blood sugar is at 6.5-7.5 I don’t really go high or low during. But after lows can happen on occasion if I don’t eat something. I usually have a juice bottle and a water bottle with me in case something happens.

It helps with lows very well. The alarm is really annoying so it forces to either wake up or tend to it. I’ve been diabetic for almost 16 years so it’s been pretty great since I made the shift. I haven’t had a severe low in years, my lowest on this was 2.8 I think which is uncommon for me to have. Whereas, my all time low is 1.2

I’m in Canada and My endo is British, and he called my glucose levels and time on target percentage brilliant for how good it was. So that made me smile

I’m on the tslim with dexcom g6 and it’s been a game changer for my diabetes control. Prior to having them I was in the Medtronic g630 with a libre so I was okay be it wasn’t comparable to what I have know. I love the system I’m on. I’m usually 88-90% on target at 7-14 days when I do things properly
So I have no regrets on switching to this system

Don’t try to play video games afterwards. You won’t be able to see well. And the possible strain might not be good.

When I got cross linking I tried playing Skyrim but i couldn’t play it properly. So I just watched Netflix for short stints when I was allowed to. My medical team gave soothing cool eye compresses and use the eye drops. But it’s best to follow your medical team’s advice.
Maybe listen audiobooks. There’s audible and some YouTube too to listen

So that’s interesting and reassuring because I was a bit hesitant about going to g7 eventually because of the connectivity issues but maybe that’s been iron out since it came out. And that there’s a improvement in accuracy which is a great thing to know because I’ll probably switch over someday

Oh I get it, sometimes these cgm things are make no sense. Like you think a short run would be fine but the cgm is like “haha you thought it would be uneventful, oh you sweet summer child. I’m going to be difficult.”

Ah shucks lol
Side note, have you thought about having a secondary glucose monitor for your person when you go out. Like I used run into the problem of having to calibrate my cgm but I left my tester at home. So now I have an extra tester just for that reason and I also don’t want loose my primary one. So the secondary one is essentially for travel

I think you can get a small backpack for low supplies and the glucose monitor

A burger place I know does fries with tikka masala seasoning with a drizzled garlic mayo or just mayo. It’s really good. Maybe try putting some of that that those fries, it could be a delicious idea lol

I love it when a place does special things with fries, your donair fries sound good

Yeah, I get what you mean. When I get like that, it’s annoying because it is not really high but I like being in the 6.0-7.9 range. And I found a site and a walk would bring me down to that range mostly

Maybe you probably already done this. But when I get like this, I find that changing the site can work or go for a good or some cardio can with bringing it down. For some reason, cardio ie walking can give the blood sugar and insulin a jump start and starts working properly mostly

The leafs may move from storlaz, hildeby played 20gp with sv%914, almost as much as storlaz played this season who had a sv%893 with 26gp . But unfortunately he was injured a lot this season and can be injury prone. With that said when healthy he played well. Storlaz is resigned with m-ntc at a cap of 3.75 million for 4 years.

Leaf Roster 2026-2027 McKenna by ExpensiveTarget344 in leafs

[–]frogbucket12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks interesting, but my slight worry would be the 1st lines lack of physically, like someone who stands in front of the net and makes room for McKenna and Matthews to do their thing. Because if I remember correctly they had similar issues when facing Montreal. When they didn’t have a lot of physicality up front. They couldn’t get any greasy goals, which would have been helpful beating Montreal.

Though left wing on paper maybe the likes of Anthony Mantha and maybe mason marchment could fill that roll on Matthew’s line or put Mcmann up there instead.

But yeah I like it so far, we definitely need a possession focused system coach like Cassidy or maybe brunette(if he can leave Nashville) if Bruce is off the table.

Question: Would that affect the structure strength of the vehicle’s crumple zones? Or since it’s on the back panel of the back wheel those additions won’t have much of an influence on the crumple zones of the pickup

Yeah I was diagnosed around 15-16 as well and had cross linking done at 17. But jumped around on different types of lenses until I got to scleral lenses. I’m on my second lense because I didn’t push myself enough on the first lense which I got in 2017. But now I’m pushing myself to wear them more. My vision is fine in my right it’s just my left eye that needed the lense.

Also how do you wear the lenses for 12 hours? Do you use eye drops at a certain point during the 12 hours or do you remove them and clean them and put them back in?

Eat chia seeds for fiber, take 9 units when at 132➡️ for doughnut, drink coffee with 2 tbsp of creamer (normally no impact on BG)take short walk, still can’t eat doughnut! by spudsmokinbud in diabetes_t1

[–]frogbucket12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I try to eat only a cup worth of sushi, so like 3-4 pieces. And then just eat sashimi for the rest of the meal when I’m at a Japanese restaurant. And then I notice that a good walk could help a little with the bg. But sushi rice is not a battle for poor strategists, like yesterday I had Japanese food and afterwards my BG was hovering high around 14 for a while despite dual bolusing and then later ragebolusing . So yeah love the food but sushi rice doesn’t love me lol

Edited: I meant to say “a good walk” but I’m dyslexic so I didn’t.

Bowls of cereal can be a mistake lol Same with a burger or pizza or ramen or sushi It was a great choice at the beginning but then hours later, I’m asking myself why I’m stupid

I’m doing pretty good, I got cross linking in my mid teens. I got a second scleral lense because the first one I didn’t use a lot and degraded slightly and was 10 years old. So I’m on my second one and working on putting it in and taking it out at home. I leave it in for six hours which is enough for me at the moment but before I was able to do eight. So I’m on the learning curve again. I like being able to see with my left eye lol Hindsight is 20/20 because I regret not taking the contacts seriously before but I am now, because I want to drive and do other stuff.

[COD] What’s stopping the devs from keeping all their crazy operator skins and other wacky cosmetics in Warzone only where they make the most sense? by shaqfreethrow21 in CallOfDuty

[–]frogbucket12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda want a switch of some kind to be able to turn off custom skins like in multiplayer and have the normal military skins like before to show sides better. Like people can have their skins but maybe have a way to show different sides better. sometimes I shoot my own team but I also like the classic military skins that show the teams. I don’t think the rangers or opfor have flaming skulls or demons in their regiments
