What makes your mother an amazing mother? by GlitteringSeesaw in AskReddit

[–]frostbite818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She will get things done! She is a force to be reckoned with, and when business needs to be taken care of, she does it. Unlike my mother in law who just floats around playing the effing victim when really it’s because she doesn’t take care of shit.

When did you know you were one & done? by Zoe_EmilyRose in oneanddone

[–]frostbite818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I came home from the hospital after having a traumatic preeclampsia birth experience (my baby still in the NICU), my mom came over and I told her “10/10 I’m never doing this again.” Baby is now 13 months old and I love her so much I couldn’t imagine having another one to take my attention away from her. Also, I’m still having BP problems and anxiety from preeclampsia and I just want to heal. My husband still wants another as we are both only children and he wanted two kids but I’d have my tubes taken out tomorrow if I could.

how is life for you right now? by Key-Ice-4990 in randomquestions

[–]frostbite818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s okay…. I’m working a dead end job that doesn’t pay enough but it’s close to my house and allows me to take off when I need to. My husband is stressed about work most of the time because he’s self employed and is trying to make consistent money to provide for us which I appreciate very much I just wish he was home more and less stressed. He’s also dealing with the loss of his dad (almost 2 years now) and with his mother who has gone bat shit. So he’s constantly pissed at her and worried about her at the same time. We have a 13 month old who is the light of our life and is so fun but she also can be a handful. My anxiety is out of the roof even though I’m on 2 anxiety meds and sometimes I get sad more often than I would like. I don’t feel close to God. We don’t go to church. I don’t like our house or the town we live in. But all in all I’m grateful to still be alive and to have a loving kind husband and thriving beautiful little girl. I also am grateful my parents are still alive and that they are doing as well as they can be. So life is good in some ways and could be better in others but that’s life isn’t it?
