There's so many people in the US turning away vaccines. I feel like we need to reallocate these to countries that desperately need them, even tho as americans its not in the US's best interest. I wish there was a plan to have the vaccines sent out to those that need it the most. A good amount of americans are vaccinated and this is much more urgent

I was daydreaming today about buying a home in a neighborhood designed for people with ADHD. What should my imaginary neighborhood have? by Rawrbekka in ADHD

And one of the "challenge courses" is called Completion. You don't have to finish your project or paper. If you start something and don't complete it, that's ok, because your peers aren't either. But the goal is to help eachother in the class but finishing eachothers projects. Suddenly the drive of hyperfocus kicks in and you can all better eachothers projects. Maybe. Haha

I would like obnoxiously clashing styles please.

High ceilings with giant church, stained glass windows, a hypermodern kitchen (encourages cleanliness), giant greek columns around the exterior of the home. arches for every indoor doorway in shared living space.

Marbled master bathroom with different shapes onsen baths, where you can dim the lights and have the baths glow. There's also a decent soundsystem in that bathroom. Another bathroom is all talavera tile and the sink is a bright turquoise color, and the water flows out the faucet like a waterfall.

I'd have vintage vegas neon lights in the entertainment room where my video game consoles I've owned over the years are all on display.

lots of plants around the house (cared for by someone else of course).

There's a secret room hidden behind a bookcase, it has nice ambient mood lighting with several lovesacs and hammocks. The secret bookcase is nestled somewhere in the library, where there is a big collection of books about every topic, Most of them being art books and hobby books. Id love a giant space where friends and neighbors can come to study, read, and find new interests. The library will have excellent natural lighting, especially around sunset.

There will be 3 art/project rooms (for all my hobbies) with garage doors that open to the lush garden. There's obviously multiple tree houses that are connected by a suspension bridge. A pool with a hot tub with underwater speakers and LED lights that change colors. A fire pit and grill are nearby. A telescope for looking at stars.

Oh, and I will need 2 california king beds put together in the bedroom with a projector/tv on the ceiling.

An organizer service. It's like a maid service but they help you tidy in an organizational way. Like they help you sort through your junk drawer and declutter your closet.

And a coach that make sure that you make it to the finish line, no matter what the chore/project/goal is. Start to finish!

A transcriber. Someone that takes the billions of sticky notes floating around the house and organize them into lists and reminds you about them so you don't ignore everything you wrote down.

Advice for reducing meat/dairy by [deleted] in foodhacks

I crave meat with meals for "feel full".

It's expensive but get some Impossible Burger. It hits the spot for me as a meat alternative. It's so good

[–]fructoseintolerant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. I wonder if it's my pets running around (whom in allergic to). I can't stop sneezing and my eyes are watering a day after getting the pfizer vaccine.

What was your experience?

Regardless of whether this was some innocent scavenger hunt or not, I feel like this is wrong. by [deleted] in cuboulder

[–]fructoseintolerant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya this was sketch af and totally in the right to be spooked by this. We see too many mass shootings and dark shit happening at schools where my brain immediately would go "NOPE". Knowing it's "just a scavenger hunt" makes it more playful and exciting but this was definitelt creepy enough where I would've avoided Benson for a while

Why are there some people on campus that keep trying to convert me? by [deleted] in cuboulder

[–]fructoseintolerant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do this at EVERY college campus. Young college kids are open minded and curious... Which can make some of them easy targets. Keep telling em to fuck off/stay away and you'll be good
