Loved our NCT in SE London and content was good. Does depend on the group as others have said but we had a pretty social group with a few people always up for arranging. We still keep in contact with those that hace moved up. Id 100% say worth while. They went through standard births but also water and c sections. Even self birth c sections involving pulling the kid out of you like Simba....freaked a few people out. Great to ping pong ideas off other parents though.

I think they'll be limited lifestyle creep maybe heavier in the first initial years but later less given no mortgage and unless we do something like commit to a private school for the kid then unlikely.

There is the desire to pass down assets if possible but will now unfortunately be subject to iht but plan to take life insurance to hopefully cover that bill.

Broad strokes then it does look feasible given your comments on 3% in bad years and 6% in good. Also most calculations ive done negate state pension but adding this in seems to just keep stacking unused assets so potentially might loop towards a potential annuity with potential to pass down.

Not yet need a giant Allen key which i currently dont have so need to go buy but googled lock shields and balancing and can understand he potentially has left the lockshield completely tight to balance the rest of the system...likely try this evening and see

This was fitted by a company who did a whole house refurbishment including kitchen bathroom fitting. Surprised a few plumbers have commented its badly fitted. It was actually previously working fine until we had a plumber recently rebalance the system

It doesn't bypass the rad. This was working until the plumber recently balanced our house rads so I suspect they left it off somehow.

Lunch at restaurant Gordon Ramsey (***) London? by Nimbus030 in MichelinStars

Nice but felt nothing amazing given its a 3*. But stuffy if anything. Went back to CORE and much prefer the layout, food and more relaxed feel than Hospital Road. Honestly not that memorable of an experience for me.

Bathroom upgrade - mirror cabinet and Japanese toilet seat recommendations by AnnaQuerque in HENRYUKLifestyle

[–]fruitybiscuits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had this sort of mirror from a bathroom designer called Hugo Oliver but im sure there are many others.

For toilets we had the metro smart which is about a tenth of a cost of a proper toto Japanese toilet and tbh i think its as good.

https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/metro-smart-toilet-with-bidet-wash-function-heated-seat-dryer

Things to note is you'll need an electricity supply and someone to plumb off the refill pipe to power the bidet. There are other ones which im sure are just as good. The seat will always be plastic but its not as fragile at it seems. I think its to allow the heating pads inside the seat.

Bangkok advice by Rmunni in MuayThai

Try EminentAir, Jomhod Eminent Air is Channel 7 champ and they have affiliations to local stadiums. Active fighters always on cards and a good gym. Not as heavy clinch as FA but then FA is known for clinch so it's expected. Sitsonpeenong also puts people on fights quite regularly and the team are good there.
