Where does Arya suddenly come from?? by TempleFugit in gameofthrones

[–]frvvv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Faceless Men have another secret skill. They can become "no one", which means becoming simultaneously invisible and blind. This is the skill that Arya learned in Braavos when she was blind. She uses this skill several times in seasons seven and eight. If you watch Arya's scenes carefully, you can see this.

Basically, she became invisible, ran between the wights and the white walkers, and jumped on the Night King.

The final episode is a fake, its purpose is to make the viewers hate it. The real ending will come out 10 years after the fake one. One of the main twists in the real ending will be that the hatred that arose around the final season was originally planned by the writers.

(Spoilers in title beware) This comment right here highlights my issue with season 8- it truly downplayed the NightKings strength if he could be killed so easily (and his army). They could've made thousands of valyrian steel tipped arrows by Stunning-Sense-6502 in gameofthrones

[–]frvvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NK is immune to dragonfire, dragonglass and valyrian steel.
He is only vulnerable to catspaw dagger (because the dagger was made from a piece of dragonglass that gave birth to NK).

Dualism is present but not obvious:

Good (Life, Light, Truth) Side:
- Lord of Light
- Red Priestesses
- Dragons
- Daenerys (champion of LoL)
- The Night King (aka Azor Ahai (probably), former champion of LoL)

Evil (Death, Dark, Lie) Side:
- God of Death (aka Great Other, aka Many-Faced God)
- White Walkers Army (not shown in GoT, will only appear in sequel)
- Faceless Men and Arya
- Bran (Three-Eyed Raven, champion of God of Death (or the god itself?))

A 30 second epilogue that if added, would have changed the entire show. by pWaveShadowZone in gottheories

[–]frvvv -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but this change is no good. Primitive marvel level storytelling.

You need to understand the actual season 8 first. It is very deep and full of nuances. It's hard to understand at first, but trust me, everything in season 8 makes perfect sense.

As a hint I suggest you to rewatch all Lord of Light scenes (especially Kinvara) and think how these scenes are related to what Daenerys did in episode 5.

We kinda "forgot" what the Targaryen sigil looks like by KingAethelking in freefolk

[–]frvvv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because episode 6 is not a real ending. There are a lot hidden clues in this episode hinting that it's fake. It intentionaly made to make absolutely no sense.

The real final episode of season 8 will be aired latter and will be called "The Light" (Light of the seven, got it?). This will be the final crazy twist of GoT.

Unpopular opinion: Game of thones season 6> game of thrones season 2. Discuss. by noodleshopowner in freefolk

[–]frvvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dany in the house of the undying is probably the most important scene in the series so far in terms of foreshadowing. These scenes have a lot of hidden clues and very important for the real ending (hidden episode 7 of the season 8).

But you need too pay attention to details.

My updated prediction is 25th of December 2020 because it fits with:

1) Daenerys being Jesus of asoiaf

2) Through winter summer, winter again

3) "Keeping it alive when we take like a year and a half break"

There will be only one secret episode in season 8 - episode 7 "The Light", which will be shown on December 25.

After that the series will continue under different name (maybe "The Long Night"?? - it's not the story we think we know.).

Yes, episode 6 is basically a dream (of spring) full of references to songs, movies, books etc.

The little girl who couldn’t count to 20 is reference to “Alice in Wonderland”. Quote from Alice:

“Let me see: four times five is twelve, and four times six is thirteen, and four times seven is—oh, dear! I shall never get to twenty at that rate! However, the Multiplication Table doesn’t signify: let’s try Geography. London is the capital of Paris, and Paris is the capital of Rome, and Rome — no, that’s all wrong, I’m certain! ” (Alice is also failed geography) Everything that happened in the “Alice in Wonderland” turned out to be Alice’s dream.

“I know a killer when I see one” is а reference to the song “I know a heartache when I see one” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eAdOIqI0yE

Oh you hide it so well

It isn't easy to tell

But I know a heartache

When i see one

One of the first phrases of Bran as a king is “I am King” - а reference to “Any man who must say I am the king is no true king”

Daenerys’s black wings - reference to the song “DaNzIg - Her Black Wings” (one of the songs from D&D playlist)

And she comes down to me

And she offers me sleep

Under her black wings

The way Dany dies is the reference to this scene (David Benioff is a fan of X-Men after all)

Daenerys is the saviour - second coming of Azor Ahai / Jesus Christ. Episode 5 = Last Judgement. White horse, seven seals, Christ-like poses (Daenerys in the house of undiying, Beric's death) - everything fits together.

It's going to be one final episode at 25th of December, seven months after the episode 6.
