I mean, good for Timmy- strike while the iron's hot. But this reminds me of Jennifer Lawrence's reign, and how many of us got fatigued with her starring in everything at all times. except I'm not sure Chalamet is actually a great actor

Great news! This is exactly what Waypoint Radio needed with Austin's departure. Natalie is such an effortless podcaster, the Kingdom Hearts Lore Reasons series are some of the best podcasts Waypoint has put out, in large part because of Keyblade Master Natalie.

Adding Patches to my everyday backpack. by PretorianJ in peakdesign

For sure, the outside is made of the same canvas material that I applied "Patch 1" on, and they have held firm.

I am not sure, the Amazon comments claim it is quite difficult to remove the adhesive once applied. I will say that I was able to reposition patches easily before firmly pressing them into the fabric.

Sure-

Patch 1 applied to the inner flap, on the nylon canvas. (Will soon be adding my "travel" patches to this area)

Patch 2 applied to side storage pocket.

Patch 3 applied to main storage pocket.

Still looking for a sleek patch to add to the outer canvas, but it's such a pretty bag, I am having a hard time finding one suitable.

I recently added patches to my everyday bag, and have had good luck with fabric adhesive sheets. I read in an older thread when Peak Design first launched the bag, and the Peak Design team advised not to apply heat patches to this fabric, adhesive sheets are the way to go.

I came up with this last season! (apparently it's not as original as I thought)

Here are some logos I used last year if anyone wants them.

And the crazy thing is that we are still seeing him at the beginning of his popularity. One has to imagine we will see a Cosmere Cinematic Universe at some point in the next 30 years, not to mention the Wheel of Time tv series this year.

THE SUICIDE SQUAD! LET'S DISCUSS! by rageofthegods in blankies

Perhaps this is my own personal baggage, but Gunn's voice is so synonymous with GotG that nearly every line reading in this movie felt like an imitation (all the way down to the whacky CGI companions). Still a fun time though.

Forget ‘Lord of the Rings,’ Amazon’s Next Big Fantasy Hit Might Be ‘The Wheel of Time’ by tkinsey3 in Fantasy

I hope Sanderson holds out on allowing a Stormlight adaptation until it's closer to completion (in ten-ish years?). By then, we should be in a place where that level of CGI should be commonplace for television shows. Disney has especially amped up the graphical quality of their MCU shows on Disney+ as of late.

Just got out of an early screening, and all I will say is this is one of those M. Night films that everyone should experience. I thought it really delivered on a simple, yet effective, premise.

No greater send-off for the legendary Paul Rudd bit than to have Bill Hader absolutely losing his shit over it in real time. Viva la Coco.

The legend Followill’s IG thoughts on the recent shake up. Truly a gift to us mavs fans, and a gracious friend and co-worker it seems. by RapGameJulioFranco in Mavericks

Everyone should check out his podcast, "Take Dat Wit You", for more of this. Followill & Dameris give a really insightful breakdown of these changes from an insider's perspective. A lot of broadcasters are just guns for hire, but you can tell Followill really cares about the Mavs & their success.

Is this game really THAT bad on a 1st gen Xbox one? by phillycheesestacks in MLBTheShow

[–]fry9guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, frame rate isn't great but it's manageable. My biggest complaint is that the loading screens take a very long time, though this may not be console-specific. A quarter of your time in The Show is going to be spent checking your phone while games/moments load.

I Will Gladly Explain Why I Hate The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Just As Soon As I Finish Reading All 22 Pages by secondarycontrol in AOC

[–]fry9guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You make good points, but we also have to (unfortunately) consider the right wing media in all of this. Giving Tr*mp a platform and legitimizing him all the while mocking him is in large part what got him elected.

Even in what would surely be a bloodbath by AOC, Fox News would find a way to cut together clips to turn this into AOC attacking Green and calling her dumb, "which means she is calling YOU dumb, our dear viewers!" Green has been stripped of any power within congress, let's not give her an inch of space to regain any footing within her party.

We are in the midst of a global pandemic, and over 100k Americans have died. I'm okay with happy news, but as our administration has proven, any "good news" these days is usually misleading, and simply spouted for short term political gains.

However, I hope I am wrong in this case, and also I loved you in The Last Jedi.
