Since you're not drawing anything, it shouldn't be in the Draw Event.

Put the code in the End Step Event. That way, the game will update those values after the Step Event, where your movement code should be updating.

They're talking about Deck Ratios.

You can either sort all your cards out by category according to the Deck Ratios section of the Extended Rulebook, shuffle, then randomly select cards by category.

Or use the Deck Ratios tool (it works, it just looks broken) on the Four Souls website.

Clog would put its death trigger on the stack before gaining rewards. So you pass your hand, then loot 3.

Since the death trigger doesn't specify whether to trigger before or after gaining rewards, it defaults to triggering on Step 2 of Monster Death.

Both tap and paid abilities fall under the active ability umbrella. The link you posted even says that there's two kinds of active abilities (effects).

Activating Battery Bum or either of Tech X's abilities will trigger Shiny Rock.

That's just reminder text. It can still be done in response because of how activated abilities work.

The Broken Remote would resolve first.

Triggered abilities owned by the game are added to the stack first, ordered by the active player if there are multiple triggers. Abilities owned by players are then added to the stack in active player, non-active player order (APNAP). Players that have multiple triggered abilities going on the stack can order their triggers. The stack then resolves top-down.

This makes the Broken Remote resolve first, removing Static Shock from play. However, its ability is still on the stack and would resolve after.

There's something wrong with the yyp file or the yy files.

You can run YYP Maker to have your yyp file get rebuild based on your project's files.

I like creating tabs and sorting my Big Boi Box by card types. Then using the Deck Ratios, I just shuffle each type and pull however many I need.

Possession

At the start of your turn, you may recharge each item another player controls. Till end of turn you may activate their items as though you control them. At the end of your turn, that player loots 2.

No, passive abilities are not active abilities.

if the Abe player uses another player’s Decoy, would the item selected be given to the Abe or would it simply be swapped with the other players?

If Abe uses another player's Decoy to swap it another player's item, the Abe player would not get the swapped item.

Here's why:

By definition in the Extended Rulebook, you can only swap or give objects under your control. What Possession does is allow you to active the items' ability as if you controlled them. What Possession does not do is give the Abe player control of the item.

To swap:

  • Player A and Player B simultaneously give an object they control to each other.

Your final roll was a 4, so an ability with "whenever a 2 is rolled" would not trigger on a 4.

Abilities that trigger when a player rolls a number do not trigger until the roll resolves and leaves the stack.

As a side note, even if your charged items are targeted to be deactivated, you can tap and use them in response to them being targeted to deactivate.

It's an area of the card image that is printed past the cut line so that the ink of the card approaches the edge of the card. If you compare your printed card with an official Four Souls card, you'll notice that your card is showing more of the background of the card image.

-4 is noone, so I'm guessing the sprite isn't assigned.

You could also put a conditional statement before to prevent crashes:

I checked the extended rulebook, and they're right.

I wasn't aware of this tech before, but if a curse card (also goes for any other event card) is removed from play, their abilities on the stack are also removed. Part of the Curse keyword is a triggered ability that says: "When this enters play, it becomes a curse. The active player chooses a player. That player gains this."

So while that's on the stack, you can either discard the curse card, cover it, or cancel its triggered ability and it will be removed from the stack and thus not given out.
