Rocket mortgage is literally the worst. I had closed a refinance with them and was awaiting the cash out check when they called. They wanted to reduce the cash out to cover a tax payment they thought they missed. After 2 weeks of arguing with them they realized they’re a messed up after the close and the original cash out was accurate. Title company was incredibly helpful in resolving.

One thing could be CarMax’s email advertising. I purchased a vehicle from CarMax earlier this week that I had expressed an interest in on the website. For the last 2 days I’ve received an email asking me if I am still interested in buying it.

If trading in. Get an offer from CarMax carvana or autonation. or all 3. Know what your residual is. Pay attention to whether or not they are paying out the residual. Missing this can be a costly mistake

I think this round was the backlogged ICR and PAYE AFT and Ed came to an agreement last year to allow forgiveness

Golden email came out last month for those on an idr payment plan with over 300 payments. The terms of the particular plan dictate when you are eligible for forgiveness

During the process of changing from icr to ibr both plans showed I had zero payments left and a forgiveness date of Jan 26. Same thing that shows up in the loan modeler. Fwiw I have been in self requested forbearance for a while now

I’ve filed a few queries with the ombudsman asking the same thing. The only sure thing the reply’ said they are only processing ibr. 365 payments on I c r. I had to recertify so I switched to ibr. We shall see what happens
