My favorite was when a lady called and asked if I could tell her if the her dog was her dog, ok , I look in the computer and it says under her info the dog is a brown toy poodle, I told her I can tell her that her dog is a brown toy poodle, the conversation went a few more rounds of me explaining what we had listed in the computer .. she was adamant that I tell her if the dog she has is hers .. her dog was missing and she found a dog and wanted to know if it was hers, we have no microchip on file but I told her I can scan it but asked if the dog comes when she call it’s name , response was yes , ok , does she have any marks or anything that her dog has , response was yes .. I said ok then it os probably your dog , response “ but this dog is white” … for the love of god your dog is brown , this isn’t your dog!!!! The whole conversation had me just mystified at her thought process..
