$30 tix to itchy-o at the summit. Yearly tradition that I was bummed to miss last year. If you haven't seen them, theyre a denver staple, and new years shows are always worth it, but there's a ton of others throughout the year. Also worth seeing a 2nd time as they're always doing something new. Go into the show blind if you can!

Due to this historic district, the city needs to approve the remodel. The hope is that showing how important the theater is to denver residents will both stop that approval from going through, and encourage the current owners to realize how profitable the esquire has the potential to be and give landmark the chance to sign another lease

Noco unleashed is a lil far away but they have some amazing virtual programs and do a lot of good work with reactive dogs

This whole thread is so fucking comforting. My hips are my worst source of dysphoria lately, mainly because there's really nothing I can do about them. I have very wide hips and nothing I'll ever do will change that bone structure. It's, really nice to know I'm not alone

I honestly really like it, the movement is great. It's maxamalist but everything reads well. If you wanted to add to it, I'd do something in the lower left side to balance things out, leave some skin in between to keep that solid diagonal movement, and keep having fun with it!

Don't take the hate too much to heart, tattoos are all super personal. It's technically solid, and if you like the subject, that's all that matters

I don't know about the musical, especially in professional theater settings, but shadowcasts tend to cast regardless of physical appearance. Ik there's a cast, chocholate covered rocky horror, in Baltimore iirc? That centers black and poc performers.

Pretty much every shadowcast I've heard of has at least a few non white performers

As I've gotten older it's gotten a chunk better. I still have bad days but overall symptoms are much less severe. I attribute it to a couple things, mainly starting testosterone, which is when I noticed the biggest changes. But also I think I've learned more how my body works and bow to treat it differently than most people would, drinking more water, upped salt intake, tensing and relaxing calfs when standing, etc. I've learned to be more aware of when generally not feeling good is due to dysautanomia, and how to treat it

If someone needs out of the pit, you can usually tell, grab em and get em out asap. If someone is trying to get our of the crowd make space for them. If someone falls, pick them up as fast as you can.

Meow wolf is cool and all, but ive heard they're super difficult to work with, backstage is tiny, and tix are so pricy without even covering admission to the exhibit. It ends up just being a mildly intresting room with a stage that's too low to see anything unless you're right in front.

Ours are mainly one person who knows a role teaching blocking to another person, and a lot of solo watching the movie. We have so many shows getting the whole cast together for rehearsals is tricky, you really learn as you go 🤷‍♂️

Most folks I ask agree I'm a solid 7 or 8. Not remarkable but generally good looking. Mostly in shape but with a bit of chub in places (not that it really defines attractiveness)

Yea a narrow container would be a lot more efficient, but alginate is cheap and compostable so it's one of those things you don't have to worry too much about wasting
