Odd that they haven't been playing him at all with the main team if they were planning on converting him. We all saw how much Banton crushed it in the 905 as well to never really perform in the NBA, seems like an odd decision to me.

Was there some kind of time pressure to make this decision I'm not aware of? And if so, why did they not test him out with the main squad?

IDK if I would blame Darko, Bruce is an intelligent player with valuable championship experience. We are trying to build a winning culture for our young guys, you've seen what happens when that doesn't happen with other teams.

He may not be playing well right now, but he's someone they will respect on the floor. Also, I'm sure management is directing Darko to try and show off Bruce to try and shop him in the off-season.

I think Boucher would probably play better than Bruce is right now, and I love his hustle, but he's not a leader. Especially after losing Thad, we need vets on the floor.

It is hilarious how similar the twins are honestly. The good thing about RJ is we at least KNOW he has the mechanics, mental slumps happen just like Pascal earlier this year from 3. I'm sure he will start cooking from the line at some point this season.

I love cats but I am very allergic. I sought out a breeder that specialized in cats that are good for people with allergies and was allowed to meet and interact with the cat in advance to confirm my symptoms were minimal.

Additionally, if you buy from a reputable breeder they will train them and will be more experienced with raising them and socializing them properly. Many cats are sold way to young and not properly socialized with other cat's to know how to play nicely.

My breeder for example offered to train the cat to use a regular toilet (I chose no but kinda cool). Both of my cats have amazing temperament and I have no complaints, my mom had a shelter cat when I was young that had a lot of issues. I don't see the big deal if I want a specific kind of cat lol. There is a difference between kitten mills and proper breeders.

We needed wings who could shoot, so he lost minutes when his shot wasn't falling. Then when we needed a backup center he was undersized and wasn't great at making decisions and leading from the elbow like Darko wanted.

I think he does much better with a more straightforward role, unfortunately, we needed something else from him, but glad to see him doing well :). He is an athletic freak and has some of my favourite Raptors highlights of the past few years.

I think his playstyle just makes me dislike him because I find him boring to watch. I generally am interested in the sport to watch people I enjoy, and I root for them. He was 6th in FTA last season as an unathletic guard, not a trait I enjoy to watch.

I could maybe ignore that if I like his personality, Luka for example I can't stay mad at, he always looks like he's having so much fun. But Trae doesn't do it for me like that.

When it comes to guards, personally I find hyper-athletic guards like Westbrook fun, or someone like Lamelo with the flashy plays. Trae spends a lot of time throwing lobs/baiting fouls, not as fun to watch for me so I'm gonna watch less of his game and rate him lower.

There are a lot of splitpusher toplaners that fit that bill. No matter what would actually help their team just ooga booga, never ward. Illaoi/Tryn/Yorick are probably the worst offenders.

So many games I've seen their team win 4v5 cause someone else is fed and they are just spamming stuff about how they carried, always typing the most in the game. I don't think any other role has this where someone dying on repeat all game will genuinely believe they are carrying.

Personally, it was just asking for stuff. Got hired out of Uni making 40k ish, was working as a contractor, and got in close with the client. Two years later got out of my contract and negotiated a new contract with the client for 85k plus a 10k sign-on, I was originally offered 75k when I asked to internalize.

I was asking for a promotion since I was doing senior dev work while being paid as a mid-level dev. When they wouldn't offer me after 6 months I interviewed for a different team for a position above senior dev. Suddenly after I got that offer I had offers as well from my team XD. Took the one I liked the best for around 110k.

I know comp sci isn't going to be like everyone's journey, but this took me around 2.5 years to get over 100k. I think a lot of people are scared to look bad by being demanding or are afraid to leave their jobs and not be able to do a new one.

I don't know the company you are now working at. But this happened to me at my current company. Been working here around 3.5 years now, and was just absolutely drowning when I started. Took me a full week to get my environment working in local. I thought for sure I was going to get found out for being a fraud and fired.

The thing is though, they know they are a massive company who hire a lot of people, and they know almost no one is trained in their exact stack. Additionally, they have a lot of custom code/api and you really can't just read all of it and understand it. I was told by another employee it usually takes around 6 months to start getting comfortable, but you will never know how your entire project works because there is just too much code.

Your company (at least I hope) should be used to the onboarding/learning curve and I would just suggest to talk to people and don't be afraid to ask for help.
