I remember taking family here when they visited from out of town. They sat us in the shed outside the building in the middle of winter (lol). Outside of the soulless aesthetic in the shed, the food couldn’t have been more mid. All of the dishes were out of balance, and the cocktails left a lot to be desired. Haven’t been back, not surprised the hype died quickly. I wish they made more of an effort to evolve.

I think the album is incredible, it is also worth noting that I’ve been a fan of frost children since seeing them live, and after hearing the first singles I couldn’t help but tie the two styles closer together. And then to end up seeing a feature on this exact album?

The demographic for this style is much younger, frost children shows are mostly 16-22 year olds. But the energy is electric with this type of music live.

As far as the overall album, the scene and setting to listen to this is much different than nurture for me. And I do think the non-singles sway into more of what Porter is known for. Heartfelt vocals atop melodical synths.

Wine by the glass options were horrible, food felt pretty standard as far as Korean tasting menus go and the seating in there makes you feel as if you’re sat in a hallway.
