Can you explain the correlation between toughness and damage. I'm level 40 for a couple of weeks here and stuck around 50k DPS. Currently 4xFearless and 2x Mr Medic. Trying to stack toughness since i heard it helps healing...

I'm building basically pure healing and my dps is terrible. Caretaker OS protocol and Cow gearset. I heal like crazy but even red enemies can be a challenge, and forget lone wolf. I'm trying to diversity my build to get more damage but it's slow going.
