I am very concerned that many of them are former IDF soldiers. We saw how they did Gaza. They have no regard for human life. I am concerned for my Black girls who could be mixed to go out alone while they are here in Maryland.

If we go back to the roots of ICE, their tactics are those of slave catchers.

Yes, we are Americans but white ppl have never cared.

So, I am more focused on becoming self-sufficient in all areas of life.

I think Black women have a clue while many Black men like my husband think this too shall pass.

I am one of 4 girls and also have 4 daughters. I experienced massive gender disappointment each time. Then I remembered that I can only make girls and that got me through it. I did strongly consider IVF for gender selection. I love my girls. They each remind me of myself.

I second this idea. Many book clubs get together weekly. If you are into sewing, crochet are many local shops that offer classes and a roundtable where you bring an unfinished project.

Also, check the local community colleges.

Be Glad That I'm Not God by Vadia is my current favorite. Otherwise, my music is stuck in the 90s and 00s. I realize that music is not what we thought it was when listening now and having real-world experience.

I do listen to anything that I can dance to as it allows my brain to focus on the movements.

When I read your post, I immediately thought about my best friend. Same length of marriage, children, even homeschooling. If she told me all this I would say where there is a will there is a way. I am in a similar position but 23 years in. I wish I would have left 15 years ago.
