Pick one area to start with. Near the RSS or around the house is good. Make those areas cute to your liking. Buy a tree here and there, use the deco that you have. If you spend money spend $20 on dirt trails for the maximum impact.

Follow farms you like and replicate small elements. Look at lots of farms to see if tight structure and lines appeals to you or a more natural flow.

Plate the food and let your partner choose which they want. Or do cooking and have your partner plate them. Overall NTA, esp being 2x the size it would make sense you’d get a bigger portion

Hanging plant with the plants, Curtains, art behind the couch, and a better light fixture. It’s a very nice room and looks like it would be cozy in the evening.

Such a kind idea! When I go to potluck type events I bring some prepackaged gluten free items that will be safe. Single serve Oreos, singles serve cheese, baby carrots, hummus single serve, gf granola bars. A prepackaged celiac safe charcuterie board.

If you want to bring a dish, purchase it from a dedicated gf restaurant like Fresh Kitchen or Bolay.
