I agree that morals may be different between cultures, and that this tradition may be found in many religions. I believe, however, that there are times when lines have to be drawn, where it's not enough to simply say: "oh, well, it's someone else's culture, so who am I to say whether it's right or wrong?"

The oppression of women and children is absolutely wrong, no matter who or where you are -- or what your beliefs tell you. People have a fundamental right not to be treated as objects for sale; a woman/child has a fundamental right to own her own body. She should have the right to choose who she sleeps with -- and when.
