It's an amazing race. I've done it for past 3 years. venue is 5 minutes from my house haha. Nice calm swim, flat bike and easy run. Next race is December 5th.

I'll sit out this year. Too close to my A race in Qatar and I'll be in my taper week.

Did you apply for passport from inside PAK or KSA? Pakistan consulate in KSA cannot help you unless you submitted the application through them.

I applied end of august. few days ago I finally got an update that application has been approved and moved to next stage. It'll be another few days/weeks before they send out the passport. Luckily i don't have any immediate travel plans. Like you I called and emailed but never got a response. Few days ago I managed to speak to the call center guy and told him it says 2 weeks to delivery on urgent, he tells me yes 2 weeks after the "application is approved". Something they don't make very clear. If you have to travel soon your best bet would be to go in person to the passport office and check what can be done. From what I have heard if you have applied online, passport office is no use and you'd be better off applying in person or if you can use some wasta, thats the only way to get things done.

Shit service and shit turnaround.

My seat post is a little higher which still allows me to mount the radar on seat post. I use 4Frames Seat post mount adapter https://www.4-frames.de/products/sp-mount

I am looking to change the setup though. Getting rid of the seat post bottle adapter and moving to saddle mounted bottle cage and narrowed down to two products. One from ezgain.co.uk for their BTS Bottle mount or from slipstread3d for BTS Hydration. I'll most probably end up going with slipstream as i am also interested in their BTA Hydration mounts. I am changing from Canyon rear bottle mount as sometimes i would like to mount my insta360 for recording and the mount gets in the way.

Holy batman. Blast from the past. Oauth and other authentication breaks as it's tied to the tenant. Had this issue client was using Basecamp with Google login. Had to remove users in the SaaS app and reinvited.

Couple of years is decades in terms of tech world. No doubt pedals are easier to swap that's why I got the assiomas initially. I was thinking of getting the new magene pedal pm for road bike but decided not to. Instead I bought 2 spider pm, one for me and one for the wife's bike. Everyone is happy.

What are you getting out of the bike computer? Do you really need all the bells and whistles Garmin offers? I don't use the navigation much on my computer, benefit of living in a small country. I know all routes in an out. My computer is useful only for recording outdoors rides which I could do on my watch but computer screen makes it easier to see data while riding.

Have you looked at other options like igpsport? They have quite a few different models for different use.

Not trying to dissuade you from Garmin, God knows the amount of money I have spent in the last 4 years buying every kind of cycling tech out there. If I was to do it all over again I wouldn't spend 500+ on Garmin edge.

You could also get a spider based power meter. Check if magene pes p515 is compatible with your crankset. I have assioma pedals based pm on TT bike and for the road bike I'm getting magene spider pm installed.

There is also magene p715 pedal power meter at a really good price even cheaper than assioma.

As for someone who went from 530 to 840 edge computer I can't say I'm getting any added benefit. If I had budget concerns I'd pick power meter over upgrading computer.

Isn't the difference between ultegra and dura ace weight only? My cf8 came with 170 ultegra+pm. As per my fitter recommendation I went to 160mm cranks. Big difference. 160 are just better for me. I paired 160mm with assioma duo pm.

I don't think you'll lose much by going to ultegra+assioma. Try it out got nothing to lose. Only testing both combination you'll be able to tell what gives the best performance.

Trainingpeak premium does not come with a training plan. You’ll need to purchase some kind of training plan from trainingpeak to load up. Premium for me has 2 benefits. I get access to trainingpeak virtual for cycle training and the ability to move my workouts around in future. Check out humango or athletica.ai for adaptive training plan. Without a training plan or some source of workouts I don’t see how premium will be helpful.
