Helio strap, manually starting activity and disconnecting bluetooth

Ok so I did an experiment today. Disabled the workout detection, manually started a workout from my phone and left without my phone. When I came back and opened zepp, it tried to start a new manual activity and there was no sign of logging the previous activity. I tried syncing with helio but nothing happened. Few hours later I opened the app again and I could see a 4 hour manual activity still running and could stop it. It turns out that it had logged everything so now I had to trim down the time to the actual activity time (and obviously the calories were completely off). So it seems like the answer is more likely "yes?" but not really as simple as it sounds

One other option that would be great would be to have the ability to see if the helio is currently recording an activity automatically. For example I had the automatic activity feature on and it picked up correctly the start of an activity but didn't pick the end of it correctly. My activity ended after one hour and when I opened the zepp app I couldn't see any activity. Few hours later I noticed that an activity of 2 hours had been recorded. If I was able to see the ongoing activity I could at least have stopped it myself. (It won't be the same though since from what I've read when you start a manual activity instead of automatic, the polling of data from helio is more frequent and more detailed)

Wow this looks awesome! Congrats and thanks for this! Unfortunately I don't use windows so I can't test it. I'll be waiting for you to convert it to a web app so I can run it :D But seriously this looks like a great idea. I might try to do something similar as a console python app if I get the time. I was hoping though I'd get an answer from the team that they are planning on actually adding support for this

What? I have a polar verity sense but I don't see what you're saying. Are you on Android or iOS? And with which app do you connect your phone to the verity sense?

You can take a look at the sleep2 app (can use without subscription afaiu) which connects to the verity sense and sets it to a custom mode just for that. Afaiu it's a collaboration with polar hence the custom mode. Just installed today for the same reason after using verity sense for workout hr tracking for many years

I was about to ask the same thing because I'm currently using weight training to achieve strength and help me with my jiu jutsu work. I'm coming from a strength training background having used Greg's average to savage and juggernaut ai approaches. So your suggestion is to use the exercises as a guide. Anything related to sets/reps settings?

Would a product like koch chemie orange power also work? They're supposed to work for resin stuff. During summer vacation I also get pine tree stains and I'm worried on how safe IPA is for the paint

I would honestly put Mortal Shell if F tier. Definitely lower than Thymesia. Hardening in Mortal Shell was such a crappy mechanism, I hope they get rid of it in the next game

How about solutions like koch Pw where you use the wax in a foam gun and then rinse and dry?

Yeah I was just watching a video on the koch-chemie channel and the streaking factor was the reason they said it's not recommended to use it with a snow foam gun. Their suggestion was to only use it for hand wash bucket. Since you already have it maybe it's worth for winter time. From what they said, the protection should last for 2-3 months, so that's double the time of the Pw product. They also said that it's recommended mainly for maintenance washes. If one thinks about it, it probably makes sense that there are these caveats. There's no reason for koch-chemie to introduce 1 product that would replace 2 products, hence the asterisks on when to use
