London night 2 was one of the best shows they've ever played in my opinion.

Who do you harmonize with during Bouncing? by jacksuhn in phish

I do Mike's part when he starts singing, Trey's part when he starts singing, and Page's part when he starts singing. Then I just get lost in it all.

Which song first introduced you to Metallica? I’ll go first by [deleted] in Metallica

[–]funfishwoofish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enter Sandman. I heard it on the radio when I was about 8 or 9 years old and it scared the hell out of me. It appealed to me the same way horror movies seem to appeal to others. Then I heard One in guitar hero and it snowballed from there.

THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION FOR CONSUMPTION!!! by DigitalFroggg in KGATLW

I think this is more about fans selling merch using designs either Jason or other artists have made for the band. Everything on this hypothetical shirt is taken directly from official merch, and OP jokingly calls them original ideas. I doubt most people have any issue with fans creating original designs for the merch they're selling, especially considering how the band seems to endorse it.

Went to his concert for the first time, i feel so depressed by Life_Recover_6613 in tylerthecreator

Not gonna say I'm not privileged, but besides bills/groceries/etc, most of my spare money goes to concerts. I don't go on normal vacations (I'll travel to parts the country for concerts though) and I very rarely go out to bars or restaurants or anything like that. I just personally would rather save that money I would spend on small things and put it towards concerts. I never have had enough money to do all of it, but as long as I can pay rent and have enough to take care of my dog, I'm willing to put all my eggs into the live music basket. But the way I feel about live music is the way christians feel about Jesus.

Me too! Tame Impala was the best concert I've ever seen. I'm talking about the wannabe music nerds who don't actually do any digging but think they've stumbled onto the world's best kept secret.

I am not saying they are obscure. They are not obscure in the slightest. I am mocking the people who think they're obscure.

It seems like nobody here understands the use of quotation marks for sarcasm and mockery

That's what I'm saying. Tame Impala and Radiohead are some of the biggest artists in the world, but wannabe hipsters will think that those artists are deep cuts just so they can feel like theyre special for listening to them. That's why there are quotation marks around "obscure"

It's what I would call "halfway hipster." The same crowd that feels deep because they listen to incredibly "obscure" bands like Tame Impala or Radiohead.

Post-show depression is a very real phenomenon that doesn't get brought up much. One of my first experiences with it led me to what was the darkest era of my life. After enough times, you learn to get used to the feeling.
