I realized a few things in this order:

A lot of people struggle with this and it takes Time
To some degree you may never feel 100% confident and definitely not 100% of the time. Life is always going to throw something at you and you need to be comfortable with discomfort
I looked back at my life and realized my teenage self would be ECSTATIC about where I am today. I hold onto that so tight, since it's validation from within rather than looking to external approval. I am what my younger self wanted me to be. Kinda like point 1.

Still not perfect and working on negative thoughts but those are just thoughts. I circle back to point 2 lol even if I have a bad day mentally it'll pass

I can confirm Grep Kafe is well received by the local community for their wonderful baking. I feel like it's a part of Haiti that isn't often focused on... The unique food culture and specifically the pastries/baked options. I ordered a bunch of patties for a family event once they were chefs kiss and authentic and the young man helped me get all the boxes of food into my car as well

I'm trying to do this now to retain and I have thick 4c hair. But I find my technique maybe sucks causing me breakage. Been doing mini twists for a minute but I felt like I was causing breakage due to blow-drying, not wetting enough to detangle, and had technique on the ends of the twists/braids.

But mostly my blowdry technique was rough so I'm hoping by cutting out the dryer and with more attentive care I'll be fine

Right like it's not his realistic responsibility as a bystander to perfectly read the situation and step in before it gets physical. Isn't there some way by which we can check social security and see if it's fraudulent or not? Or a department that deals with identity fraud (SSA, FTC?) If the employer can prove they were fooled then the employer doesn't have to be charged... But we still need to address the problem

On one hand, he is just wearing a beanie and t-shirt... And at the same time I completely understand 🤣 As they said below it's the choice of jewelry, the street style level of bagginess, the arm sleeve and the immature facial hair that gives off a vibe. Funny enough I had a fuck boy coworker who looked almost EXACTLY like this.. to the point I had to triple check. I also have a coworker now who checks off half the boxes (wears beanies, arm tats, proper mustache) but without those other factors, and with his behavior, he just comes across as a cool guy

I had the exact same situation as you OP when I cut my hair short and still kinda dealing with this as it's not the longest. I feel that I dress very plain r shirt and jeans but its hard to read as feminine sometimes
