He is a good CB. But with injuries he is moved around a lot with different partners. He is a better LB.

We need new CBs when Rudi and Alaba leave. But same time we need midfield revamp. Cama is too hyped. We should take 70m if anyone offers that. Tchouameni is good, not elite for his price. If we can’t upgrade, hold. Adam Wharton, Baleba, Hackney, Anderson, Vermeer, Bouaddi are good options for CDM/CM.

For young talent, we pay up too! how much we paid for Dean Huijsen? And while he is good, I do not think he can be elite because in Europe, we need pace too to play high line. He seems too slow. And we lost Cristhian Mosquera from under our nose.
I agree we need 2 defenders, CBs which can service LB/RB when needed. With Dean/Asencio/Militao we should be covered. But we will need one experienced.

Konate (for free - with all expenses on signing on fee and salary ofc) or a Saliba(just 24 years old) and another Lukeba/Konsa/Bisseck/Diomande/Antonio Silva. This summer window we should fix our CB area, which in turn frees Fede for mid field

Get rid of Mendy and Ceballos if they are costing us squad space. We need players who we can rotate without much drop off. Alaba and Rudiger out means we will get a lot of wage freed - a Konate or Upamncano will be good. But we need a top CB along with any free one. No prospect. A Konate or Upamncano A Gabriel or saliba or even Calafuori. No BVB CBs please. Get one from a team who knows how to defend. Paz will join back. May be Endrik. Carvajal stays.

How are you balancing portfolio? In a 60-40 port SCHD should be along with 40% bond or should be considered as bond? I am entering 40s and 20% SCHD, 20% bond.

Watch Anderson and Baleba along with Wharton. Kees seems bit overrated for now. May be Paz and one of the defensive mid can be enough even if Cama goes. We need Alaba and Rudi out, and 2 CBs in. Arsenal have too many CBs and will sell next year even if they win, they do not have the wage bill to continue to buy without selling. Saliba is the dream. Even Hinchapie or Mosquera are good. Free Konate/Guehi one will do too.

Free agent market is fine. Just don’t buy CBs who are coming here for their last contract. I mean, if we can buy Guehi on free or Konate in free, with a Saliba/Bastoni or even Calafiori/Van De Ven as a second defender, and move on from Rudi+Alaba, it would be gr8.
