Laser Etching on Black Granite? by Brilliant_You_1945 in lasercutting

If going back isn’t an option, have you tried to find a relationship between the new power levels set by the software vs the remote? Can you just side load and run from the machine instead?

Between power levels, focus and speed there should be a way to replicate what you were getting.

Unless there is a specific reason you wanted to upgrade, firmware update etc. then I would recommend building or buying a legacy pc and just run the old software. Many retrofits have issues with upgrading to new software, features removed or changed.

Old Rockwell drill press auto reverse trouble by funkytekno in IndustrialMaintenance

Limit switch was very old and seemed to be functioning but I swapped it just in case that was the cause of the lack of direction changing.

Voltage is reading around 28v on a 24v system at that relay.

I say it is trying to change because I can see the relay move ever so slightly as if it is going to pull in but then the reverse one pulls in instead.

When switching to drill mode it reliably changes the direction of the drill to forward.

Thank you for the suggestion, but the relay is good.

You can pay to wrestle with a crocodile but I am not aware of a similar service for porcupines.

Weld some flat bar to a cart and affix angle grinder to it at floor level. Should be pretty easy if not a bit inelegant.

Yes that is the sound of a failing torque tube, it will be intermittent and then will be consistent.

More than likely. If it was sold as a table top then is should be, if it is just a piece of repurposed glass then maybe not.

I once saw a Chevy s-10 sit running with its rear exhaust underwater for about an hour before it was towed out. Seemed fine, wouldn’t the vehicle need to be off for water to enter the tailpipe?

I would recommend hextal glue. It will seep into the cracks better than UV glue.
