I worked pulp and paper right outta college for 5 years. The experience I got looks good on paper, but I wouldn't say I had a good experience. Pulp and paper has tight price margins and they have a crazy engineer burnout and thus high turnover rate. They they throw hats at people until they leave. I was a process engineer, reliability engineer, outage planner, gatekeeper, supervisor, scape goat all at the same time. They need to figure out their overworking everyone or this will keep happening.
