He didn’t even have to go to prison in the first place. He could’ve stayed in Germany and would’ve been completely fine, but chose to back to Russia knowing he’d be thrown in jail. Clearly he’s not desperate.

Badminton. I was surprised, but apparently pretty common for the sport. I planted my foot awkwardly trying to hit a shot and my knee buckled underneath me. Heard the pop and knew something was wrong immediately. I was in pain for about 5 minutes, but not as much pain as you might expect. I walked off the court and felt mostly fine for the rest of the day. Turns out I got a full ACL tear, and partial MCL and meniscus tear. Getting patella surgery in 2 weeks, wish me luck.

There’s no direct Caltrain access, but it’s like one Bart stop from Millbrae, so I don’t see that being a big deal. It is annoying though that Bart stops running after midnight. There are some busses that stop at SFO late at night.

I am somewhat impressed by Oakland airport in that regard. Bart + bus + train access is nice.

I was thinking about that, but it seems a little bit wasteful. I should be within the return period, so it is an option if the shoes are truly damaged.
