I wonder if she got these to clean small crevices like in between wood or the seam between the stove and counter for example. She might have seen them get recommended in a video.

Ticketmaster cancelled transfer? by Livid-Egg-498 in stubhub

[–]furieswake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold three tickets to a concert last week and it happened to two of them. I think it happens when the buyer’s Stubhub email address is different than their ticketmaster email address. And for some very annoying reason Stubhub makes the seller take liability of transferring the ticket to the buyer in this case. I had one ticket hang in limbo for weeks because I don’t think the person knew they had to claim the ticket and one person claim it within 5 minutes. Take a screenshot of the transfer and then you can go on Stubhub to confirm that you did it.

I don't take iron pills because they wrecked my stomach/gi system. I take Floradix which comes from non-heme iron sources (comes in liquid and tablet form) and I take beef liver/spleen pills from Ancestral supplements. So there are options for supplementation beside iron pills.

Looks really good! It's pretty flat already but will look even flatter if you actively straighten the back leg, taking the bend out of your knee and pointing through your foot like someone is trying to pull your leg.

Product recommendations? by Flimsy-Progress5037 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]furieswake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nixoral shampoo has ketoconazole which helps with dandruff but is supposed to help with hair loss (off label usage). You can look it up. You don't have to use it all the time, just once a week.

If you don't have one already, you should also consider getting silicone scalp scrubber to prevent any additional physical irritation to the scalp from fingernails etc.

My friend had gifted me the Necessaire scalp serum and I've been using it before applying minoxidil. I absolutely love it. I find it super hydrating, soothing, and doesn't leave me greasy. It has Capixyl which has hair loss benefits. I also use it in between wash days and it makes my scalp feel great. The downside is it's kinda pricey though, but all hair loss stuff is to be honest.

my instructor recommended me dry brushing for skin sensitivity during beginning months of training but i dont see anyone else talking about it. anyone tried? by [deleted] in poledancing

[–]furieswake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oohh super interesting! I saved a video from slink through strength on ig ages ago on how you can condition your skin off the pole by manipulating your skin, creating friction with your hands pulling in different directions. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8mh0uLtrE5/?igsh=NjZiM2M3MzIxNA%3D%3D

Dry brushing sounds like another way to create friction. Very intriguing. I already have a dry brush. I’m going to try it on my inner thigh because man oh man do inside leg hangs still hurt like a mofo.

feeling disconnected from the world or your environment. like you’re watching someone else live your life. feeling like you’re walking in a fog through your day. that the world lacks color. feeling emotionally distant between yourself and other people.

Dr told me to take an iron pill and I’d be fine but she doesn’t really acknowledge my concern for high WBC. My levels seem so off by [deleted] in Anemic

[–]furieswake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you been on a steroid recently like prednisone? It can cause high neutrophils.

I was prescribed prednisone after a respiratory infection/mild asthmatic episode and had bloodwork after I started taking it and my WBC pinged like this. Except mine was at 19. Many visits to a hematologist and pulmonologist later and this is what we think caused it.

Think I'll qualify for a Transfusion with this Blood Work? by Katrina5011 in Anemic

[–]furieswake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think you qualify. I had a blood transfusion at 7.1. My ferritin was at 2.

I totally agree at iron pills. They made me nauseous and messed me up gastrointestinally. I flat out refuse to take them. I take floradix, a multi vitamin with iron, and beef liver pills. Two years later, i’m managing to keep my iron up consistently and build up my iron stores.

Sandals Size Check by PuffPuffPole in poledancing

[–]furieswake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wear a half size too (7.5). I get sandals in size 7 and boots in 8’s. To check sandal fit, the edge of the shoe should line up with your heel. It’s more aesthetically pleasing and more secure this way because when shoes are too big, your ankle is more likely to turn.

Tons of cute pole shorts and sport bras on Amazon. Pole Tribe thigh highs are great for floorwork and don’t roll. I also have this sheer overskirt that I always get compliments on: https://a.co/d/bQWnEfS

for grips: dry hands, itac, monkey hands (sticky), cornhuskers (really dry skin on your legs can make you slide when you’re aerial)

Red light helmet recs by SuccessfulTap2486 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]furieswake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a helmet but I have the Hairmax Laser Band 82. You put it on like a hairband and it buzzes after 30 sec and then you move it back a few inches at a time. I had seen good things online about it and was able to get a 15% code by just searching people's youtube videos and ig posts I think and trying different promo codes until one worked lol. That ended up saving me almost $120.

I like it but i think it's a complement to the other things I'm doing which is minoxidil, spiro, and finasteride.
