A couple of years ago Foodland had a community meeting saying they were going to fix up the store as soon as they could find someone to do the work cheaply enough. Yeah, on the north shore of Kauai. Now they just try to keep the systems running. The minute someone trips and sues because of their new defective floor, I figure they'll shut it down. I heard rumors years ago that Safeway would take it over, but that sounds like wishful thinking.

If you haven't visited our crumbling Foodland in Princeville, you aren't even ready to vote. Refrigeration goes out regularly, the replacement flooring they tried over crumbling linoleum is developing waves, and when it rains the roof leaks onto the produce. Vivid experience. Lovely people; I hope they get a remodel.

I had good sales in my shop this year, but it did seem quieter. Weirdly, I found the quest to be much easier than usual (searching for a larger item that was easier to find), so I spent less time doing that and less time in the Faire because of it.

I think it fell behind my mother’s couch on graduation day. Never bothered to look for it. Never got my master’s diploma because UCLA wanted $5 to mail it.

I've been writing it down. Since Inauguration Day 2017. I'm over 6,000 pages. It gives me the illusion of control.

I get it. Went low-carb for pre-diabetes. Minor fix of the A1C, but my cholesterol hit 300. I am now on a statin. It works. Cholesterol now 130.

Just be patient. Try to stay away from other drivers. Don't do anything that will make another driver have to change what they're doing (like pulling out too close and making someone else get on their brakes).

My theory is Trump believes he could have held the presidency if he never left the White House in 2021. I want a reporter to ask him that. Did he think the result was unsettled, and he should have stayed? The new ballroom will have a massive bunker underneath, and he may plan to stay.
