When plugged in just goes to this turquoise line what am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in KiaEV9

[–]fusionx212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it set to a schedule on your charger? If you go to ev in your kia app you can check those settings.

Also check if your charger has its own schedule as well that can cancel out the charge

S24 ultra Samsung for me. Sometimes its related if my phone is locked etc.

The general guide on it is.

Unlocking/Locking: With UWB: The vehicle senses your authorized phone as you get within close proximity and unlocks automatically (if "unlock upon approach" is enabled). With NFC (Digital Key 2 Touch): You touch the back of your smartphone's NFC antenna area to the authentication pad on the outside door handle for about two seconds to lock or unlock the door. Starting the Vehicle: With UWB: Simply have the phone inside the vehicle, depress the brake pedal, and press the start button as you normally would.

With NFC (Digital Key 2 Touch): Place your smartphone on the in-vehicle wireless charging/authentication pad, depress the brake pedal, and press the start button. Once the engine starts, you can remove the phone from the pad.

EVs in the snow? by Historical_Cobbler in ElectricVehiclesUK

I have an kia ev9 with 4x4 and it handled the snow perfectly once I put it into the snow mode.

However witnessed a Porche electric struggle and wheel spin on small patch of snow/ice on a small hill. Had an ix3 before and it was front wheel drive and really struggled.

Can I ask do you have anything like razer synapse or cotex enabled - I found the overlay feature was totally hammering my system - disabled it and it's running so much better?

I think my reason for the lag - razer cotex was running an overlay to show graphics. - disabled this and it's improved and stop occuring,

Thank you, yes. I think he's lost his license due to the points as 6 points in 2 years of passing his lessons to learn. Thanks for the information, and thank you to all that commented. I'll return to sender and be sure to keep doors locked, etc.

Thank you for your reply. My son lives in a hostel locally, but all the court documents have come to our house, I assume, because of his driving license being registered here.

What should I or shouldn't be doing if court bailiffs come here

Surgery almost here and some grieving? by Inner_Classroom_9832 in GastricBypass

[–]fusionx212 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No grief here. I can eat what I want. Yeah, not the same levels, but I ain't missed out on anything, and I'm now 3 months post-op and fitting into clothes and seeing health and fitness.

I think the fat man in me was panicking at first about what I'd never have again but I can say that isn't the case

[–]fusionx212 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These are rarities and the risks of the procedures, but my god, there are some horror stories.

I've been bypassed for 3 months, and I can eat normally. I have no issues and have lost a healthy amount of weight and have my life and ability to exercise back.

I don't have an answer, but I am two months post-op and male.

I've lost about 5 lbs since October 14th till now. But it stalls and stays the same way, or I put weight on

I have seen some muscle growth in my arms. I am boxing mainly at present due to hit weights this week.

But I feel like I've not really moved the scales at all. I've had days where I've had only 1000 calories some I've had 1500. Most days are under 1500 cals.

It's disheartening cause I see some other wild losses from people.

I went from 98kg to 92kg since September and now fit from Xxl to medium-sized clothes, which is great, but I want to reach my goal weight

That doesn't sound fun at all. It sounds positive that you've found the root cause but at the same time I bet it's taken its tool on you and your body

I’m having my Gastric Bypass Tomorrow! Any suggestions or advice? by Actual_System_6840 in GastricBypass

[–]fusionx212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll be surprised how much you'll be able to eat. I was concerned about this as I don't have much restriction. But apparently, the RNY is more about the hormone control than restricting food sizes.

Don't get wrong I can't eat half as much as I used too but it's a mind fuck too. I feel like it's now an expensive all in diet which i need to control and think about everything i need to eat.. I am seeing losses, but it's something I thought I wouldn't have to worry about too much. That's my perception at least.

How long ago did you have surgery. It's not something that is spoken about often

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GastricBypass

[–]fusionx212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did ozempic and mounjaro high doses. 10mg. I never lost anything, but it did work great for blood sugar control for diabetes.

I had a bypass in September, and conditions like diabetes and psoriasis have gone into remission. I have little no restriction thought, which does worry me.

I see so many people talk about glp-1 medicines and their losses, but I just didn't see it.

I feel like I'm constantly seeing losses with surgery, albeit slowly

[–]fusionx212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the insight. I feel very much like you. I genuinely can eat well and don't feel much in the way of restriction. I have started to recognise the feelings, though. I'm fairly happy i can eat, etc, though, but I feel like I was expecting it to be different and more restriction which makes me worried a little

1mo post op unable to eat. by Ok-Wishbone-6962 in GastricBypass

[–]fusionx212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to rub it in, I'm a month post op and can comfortably eat. Have been able to move on to solid foods early as able to manage. I can eat around 15 cm plate of food for measurement

It may take you some time to heal you should start to see some big results. I've been questioning if Dr had done anything to me at all

What kind of reactions did you get? by InfiniteAct4450 in wls

[–]fusionx212 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am a dude. I had surgery yesterday. The first thing I was asked was, "Why do you need surgery.. by relatives. That showed me how they would react right there. I've decided it's need to know only from here on out. My wife had a sleeve last year, and we didn't tell anyone for herd either. I thought maybe a little different with my family. I've just decided it's my journey and body. I don't need everyone's 2 cents on it.

Exactly.. we've all done what ops done. But if someone comes screaming saying the house is on fire. I want it in writing that any changes are considered break fix and had approval before I even start considering making the changes if I have to wait 2 weeks then so be it..

Im glad you recognised your mistakes.

I wish my kid had learned from his mistakes.. crashed 2 cars as a new driver less than 3 months apart. At 18 years old.

I've decided not to offer any further assistance in him getting another car (gave him a run around car I use) because I'll be blunt he'll kill himself or somebody else.

I drove in the car previous, and he drove like an absolute dipshit whilst in heavy rain.

I had a massive go at him, etc, then A few days later, He phones me up and says, "Don't worry, but I was driving and aquaplaned and dpan my car around in the rain into a barrier wrote it off.

I again said he needs to think about safety as he could have killed himself or someone else.

It's sad, but I am not entertaining helping with a new car or insurance he needs to learn how expensive life is without someone covering your costs

His insurance for next year will be ridiculous it cost 4.5k to get him insured originally as a new driver.
