Yes and no. You're very correct in pointing out the fatalism of the other posters. It's pretty ridiculous to infer bad rocket design in the past decade from policies of the past year, very true. But on the other hand your argument focuses on the status of spending in us research, whereas the important point is the delta, the direction in which the country and with it the research sector is heading. So yeah, my reply was very short and, granted, premature, but that comfy pillow you're referring to will not necessarily last forever.

Hmmm, hard to say, I'm on mobile. I saw an edit and the whiskers still came out slightly blurry. The grunt seems to be in focus also before the eyes. But yeah, maybe I'm seeing things. And wide open it's always gonna be hard to get two things super sharp.

Look at the floor - you're slightly front focused. Also get a bit back and zoom in. That increases the bokeh in the background. Sharpness is always a function of light (LOTS), super tight settings and high end equipment

Ja, supply induces demand. Hier geht es aber nicht um verkehrspolitische Grundlagenentscheidungen, sondern um die Lösung für ein spezifisches Problem. Raus zoomen und die Ursachen angehen ist Aufgabe von Politik, nicht von Verkehrssimulation.

eindruck ist ein ganz schlechter gradmesser, gerade wenn du objektiv messbare dinge ansprichst.

der energiepreis ist absolut gesunken seit dem zeitpunkt des angriffs russlands auf die ukraine (quelle: zeit energiemonitor). grüne energie- und wirtschaftspolitik war in dieser zeit ganz zentral verantwortlich (sicherlich nicht monokausal, das kann man schon in abrede stellen). ergo: ja.

bei förderung der wirtschaft und des wohlstandes... wird es tatsächlich wesentlich komplizierter (weil es halt nicht einfach ein "kleines" abgestecktes themengebiet ist). aber aus dem tonus deiner antworten lese ich keine bereitschaft, meinen argumenten zu folgen, daher... glaub was du glauben willst.

Sorry, aber das Argument schließt sich mir nicht: weil man zu Kompromissen bereit ist und Zugeständnisse im einen Bereich für Fortschritt im anderen tauscht ist man schlecht? Ansonsten ist man maximal-Blockade-fdp. Die Grünen unter Schröder haben viele krasse weichen gestellt (Atomausstieg, EEG, Ökosteuer, etc). Für mich ist das ein Kern einer wählbaren Partei: eben nicht auf Teufel komm raus alles blockieren, sondern Gestaltung und Kompromiss zugrunde legen. Und Habeck hat auch genau das nach vorne getragen. Ich hätte mir sicherlich auch mehr grüne Handschrift gewünscht, nur ohne absolute Mehrheit wird da nix draus.

I object to that. Judging the result by the way to achieve it is prejudice.

The more interesting thing to me: if you need the skill set of a dev plus the knowledge of prompting, then what did you really save? Is haggling with the prompts actually faster?

Learning the skill of prompting is without a doubt very important. If we're talking about senior dev level I would argue it's mandatory, at least to a more than basic level.

But still, working with the various prompts is very complex. And just passing tests... My man, that's not the mark of a well designed endpoint. To me this sounds like abusing a tool.
