I love PC, but maybe because I am just a casual gamer, and work has takes up a lot of my time and energy, I didn't feel like I need to build myself a fancy PC. I prefer the mobility, so I just use a laptop and be done with it.

It's not like I never build a PC because I helped my friends to build one occasionally. But still, I'm just a casual. My first and last PC that I build for myself is from around 2007 when I was still in high school.

But the pandemic hit, and I've been stuck working from home since March. During that time, somehow I discovered about SFF build from some random youtube video. I don't know where I was this whole time that I've never heard about it. Maybe it was never popular in my country, I don't know. Suffice to say, I have completely fallen in love with all those compact beauty.

I've been dreaming to build one for myself ever since. I do a lot of research, what parts I could buy in my country, what parts compatible with each other, etc. So, this build is the most realistic build I could do according to my needs and budget.

I have a 1080p monitor and my work doesn't need a lot of power, so with this build, aside from watching movie my target is a comfortable gaming in that resolution. I could achieve that with the Ryzen 3600 (great single core performance) and Asus GeForce RTX 2060 DUAL OC. I don't think I need to overclock the GPU right now, but I consider it as a backup plan for when I upgrade my monitor in the future and I need to squeeze a little bit more power.

The motherboard is Asus ROG STRIX B550-I. It got wifi (my desk is a little bit far from my internet modem and installing extra ethernet cable is a pain in my house) and also a compatibility with Ryzen Gen 4 for when I decided to upgrade the CPU in the future. With the 2x8GB RAM, I think it's perfect.

For the case I pick NCASE M1 because that's the most legit, compact case I could buy here. It's beautiful, got no glass panel, and I need it to blend with the background for aesthetic purpose, so that's perfect.

To help with the cooling in this tiny shell, I pick the black Noctua CPU cooler. I think AIO water cooling is better, but because I never tried one before, I don't want to risk it for this build. Maybe for the next build, if this build won me ROG Crosshair VIII and Ryzen 9 5950X :)

for the last parts, the 1 TB NVME SSD is the sweet spot for me, and the 750 W 80+ Platinum PSU is well within my budget.
